I was reading this on the dallas website I was wondered did any of yous have any info on it

A mysterious set has appeared at the real Southfork Ranch – room 22. It’s under lock and key – not even the staff at the ranch are allowed inside. What is the mystery behind room 22? Let is know your ideas.

I thought they just filmed exteriors there, I mean, I was there once when they were filming, there wasn't really a "set,"- they just filmed outdoors. Is there a set there now beside the house? I thought they filmed the interiors in some other place completely. It all seems a bit odd. Maybe the coffin they are using for JR's service is in there.

it has replaced Miss Ellie's room, which has become a suite at the Southfork Hotel. What's in that room will be revealed during an episode

The room contains a large capsule where Pam is cryogenically frozen. When you open the closet doors, there's also a wormhole...space-time continuum...if you enter, you exit into the past and Pam's shower at 227 Antioch Drive.

Twilight Zone, Room 22......noo noo, noo noo....

"We've dressed it up in some hospital wrappings..." Sounds like mummy Pam to me. lol

I know, it's Sue Ellen's old brown station wagon.

Just kidding, this is interesting. It has to be a prop that is so recognizable, they don't want anyone to see it. What could that be? Maybe it's a portrait of JR like that of Jock and they don't want anyone getting a picture. I can't really think of a prop that is so famous they don't want it to be seen. Anyone have any ideas?

You know, I don't go on the main site so I didn't even see those rumored spoilers.
    http://www.ultimatedallas.com/dalla...as-tnt-season-two-and-the-secrets-of-room-22/

I'm thinking the site people here have read the scripts and have been fed some info from someone on the set, but I have a feeling some of these might be deliberately false to act as red herrings. The Room 22 one I believe, it's like they are asking people to guess what it is. I have no clue why they would keep a set secret. It's strange.

maybe it will turn out that JR isn't really dead and Bobby and Sue Ellen are keeping him alive on machines but no one else knows ... maybe Ann. I remember an old horror movie in the 70's called The Legacy where a very rich very old man was kept alive in a secret room. Maybe?

This is the news of the day !
At Southfork Ranch there is a torture chamber. Maybe it was the old gym of the Ewings.

    Whoever lives there should move.

Anyway I think Snarkys wish is coming true. Sue Ellen is locked in there and going a little bit crazier by the day.

We must see the set corridor and not just inside as they have built it but why is it all painted so dark?

I think it will end up being something like John Ross' bedroom that is shown a couple times (regardless if he's living there or not). That way Southfork Ranch has added a 'new' character set for tourists, similar to how they added "Elena's Cottage". I believe the producers get to film there for free with the ranch benefitting by increased tourism so I can see both the producers and SF seeing this as win\win. Something I read implied it was in the actual house, so the only thing that doesn't make sense is the no. 22 - the house isn't so big you have to put numbers on the doors to find your way. Has it been confirmed the set is in the house?

it is in the house. It has replaced the Miss Ellie room at the end of the hall leading to the Bobby room.

Based on the numbers on each door in the hall I would guess it is a cheap motel setting.

Perhaps it's where Gary & Val live. Times are tough . Karen lives at number 23 :) Or maybe it's TNT think they live

Maybe that's where they were keeping the wax JR for the funeral scene!

It's odd they would change something in the house unless they expected it to be permanently become part of the "tour"- it must be where JR supposedly "dies" or it's where JR's service is with the casket- they seem to think it will be part of "Dallas" lore - the only thing about being where he dies is Hagman didn't film a death scene and this went up after Hagman died, anyway- so it's most likely the coffin room or something, it would obviously be very crass to show that before it even aired, so that might be why they have closed it off.

Or- you know what, it might be Hagman himself. They might have his ashes, or part of his ashes, in the room. They might even be thinking to show an urn with some of his ashes as part of the tour. After all, there was talk of spreading some of his ashes around Southfork, maybe they decided to keep and display them instead- I'm not sure what the difference would be, ashes are ashes to me.

That's a possibility Ronald. That one pic kinda looks like a casket in there. Whatever is in the room, I feel it has something to do with JR or Larry. Also, in the spirit of JR in JR Returns, I pledge to be a kinder gentler Galahad93 on here.

My guess is this will be the room J.R. Ewing is killed (or dies) in. They would need to keep this room locked off if they needed future access to it. Perhaps it will be part of a crime scene which will be needed later. It could also be a future asset for Southfork as people could now see the room J.R. died in.

That's a really interesting idea. Maybe he is found dead in room 22 of some dingy department block. We know now he doesn't die peacefully as outlined in yesterdays spoiler update.

Ugh! I didn't see the pictures the first time I looked, now I see them. This all comes across like some sort of "bad PR Gimmick"- and the title of the episode is just frightening.

    It's
    Show Spoiler
    "JR's Masterpiece"

It's so scary. The title makes me think they are going to try to come up with something "clever"- this from people who have shown no signs of being able to come up with anything clever. It could just be a disaster.

Whatever is behind the mysterious Room 22 at Southfork Ranch has to be something so big that it could replace Miss Ellie's bedroom on the Southfork tour. All will be revealed on TNT's "Dallas" next Monday night, and then the lock will come off the door and the room will be open to the public as part of the tour.

    What is behind that door?

Room 22 - what do you think it is?

Think this is where Pam was hidden or many of JR's files on his schemes or what briefly in bullet point...
