She's good, she's really good. I'm only on new WHO S2 and have a few companions to go yet but I can't wait to see this.

"Who she's playing, how the Doctor meets her, and even where he finds her, are all part of one of the biggest mysteries the Time Lord ever encounters. Even by the Doctor's standards, this isn't your usual boy meets girl."

Err... how about the Crack in time mystery being solved first? Has this ever been solved ? What was causing it etc .... Did I miss something in the explanation?

I liked her in Emmerdale and also in Waterloo Road, although that was a small part.

Right now I would take anyone over Karen Gillan

She's always struck me as a good, competent actress.

Although, I'm not a fan of modern day Doctor Who I have to say and this announcement doesn't change that.

What the fck is she wearing? That might be a good EMMERDALE FARM look but primark in the TARDIS ? Please god no. Who let her wear that? They should be fired. Immediately and without discussion.
