I can't find Communards/Bronski Beat/Jimmy Somerville in that list (and should it be a combination of these 3?)

The only two I can think of right now are 'Everything But The Girl' and 'Spandau Ballet', although I'm not sure how popular they would be?

Thank you, all have been added.

I will say that when I saw your reply @Long Lashes, I immediately thought of Sia, so I added her too.

I had Divine, but this is probably a better way of doing him.

Of course this excludes his PWL songs, but we've already done the PWL top tens.

Thank you for doing that :thank:

Did the list of theme ideas for the nomination threads get lost with the crash @Ome?

Here are a few I've thought of...

    * Songs with a musical instrument in title.....Piano Man - Billy Joel, Air Guitar - McBusted

    * Songs with flowers, trees, plants.....Bed Of Roses - Bon Jovi, Little Willow - Paul McCartney

    * Songs with Vehicles/transport cars planes trains ….Fast Car - Tracy Chapman, I'll sail this ship alone - The Beautiful South

    * Songs which mention a month. I think we did days of the week but I'm not sure if we did months?

    * Songs with household objects in the title e.g. mirror, table, bed, lamp, etc

I can't remember if we've covered any of these themes, so feel free to discount them :D

    I was close :D
I'm not sure, they are not where I thought they would be, but I might have saved them somewhere else. I need to dig around. Thanks for adding these though, at least I have a starting point :D

No, which reminds me I need to re-list all we have done and those put forward. Damn this crash for taking over!!

What about those instrumentals, which they did so many with the B-Sides in the 80s?

I think it's more interesting to look for instrumental hits (the ones that didn't have a vocal version) like Crockett's Theme etc, otherwise we'll end up with instrumental b-sides of songs that have already been nominated.
I would also exclude the classical concerts like Mozart and Beethoven.

Yes, I don't want to listen to Sam Fox's Touch Me, if she's not actually singing it.
