We all know Victoria said she would only come back for the last episode of Dallas if they could guarantee it was the last episode.

Okay, say the powers that be did guarantee this. What role would Pam have featured in Conundrum? Would she have been in the 'dream world' or would they have junked the whole Wonderful Life idea and made the last episode a normal episode focussing on Pam's return?

    What do you think?

I would have made Pam first woman president of the United States (and the only way you'd get Victoria to say "yes") and Cliff her attorney general (but they made that illegal after the Kennedys, didn't they?)

I always envisaged Pam's life in a world without JR going like this

Because the Ewings had lost their fortune by 1978, there was no 1977 BBQ party, so Pam never met Bobby because Ray never met Pam, Pam herself goes into business and opens a chain of boutiques across Texas and eventually the United States, sometime in the early 1980s she meets Mark Graison - who was probably her 2nd love after Bobby, they get married and are able to have children (Pam still isn't a Barnes, but she doesn't know this because she never reconnected with her mother) by 1991 Pam is one of the richest women in America, her marriage to Mark has cooled down but they're content, they have three children; Margaret, Cliff Jnr & Lorraine,

As for the actual scene Pam is leaving the Hotel where a poor Bobby is heading to meet his mob boss, they bump into each other as they pick up Pam's things they share a very brief moment, staring at one another until Mark calls Pam, Pam says thank you to Bobby as he says "good day mam" Bobby continues to stare after her and Pam looks back one more time, perhaps with some recognition, an strong attraction, before she heads out to meet Mark and her three children. Never to see each other again.

In the alternate timeline its mentioned that Pam is still alive in 1991 but her whereabouts weren't revealed to the viewers.
