I am the same with about 75% of the cast.
I keep asking myself the same question every time i switch on CS and infact watch itv? WHY?
What a dogs dinner that was tonight. Chesney is more interested about taking over Jacskons Chippy with Dev than caring for his son. Both Chesney and Izzy have soon got over Katies death.
The fight scene with Beth and Fiz was poor. The only decent bit were the scenes with Todd, Summer and Billy. Although what is coming up for Billy is ridiculous .
I haven't even watched Monday's and I will miss tonight's as well. I have to agree about Katie's death. They are both - especially Izzy - acting like nothing has happened. Although I couldn't stand Katie - spoilt selfish wee madam.
I agree, the whole family are a waste of space.
watched part of it tonight and gave up ZZZZZZZZZZZZ
EEK!! I think my Corrie watching days are numbered and I never thought i would say that
Absolutely loving the scenes with Pat, Anna & Nicola, I think it's great how they've had this feud between Anna & Pat go on for as long as it has and still feel really exciting. I'm guessing Phelan will be written out soon and with Anna going, I 'm going to miss this part of Corrie. Eileen has to be the thickest character in Corrie history.
Not really understanding the pain and anguish Kate is going through with Rana, it's not like they've even been that close and out of nowhere, Kate is suddenly besotted with Rana??
You've been saying this for months.
Never thought i would give up on it totally but that time is now
The only thing i will miss is a Rita, Norris type of scene, or a heart felt Roy one so i will rely on this thread to point them out.
And it will need to improve drastically to get me back into it. The plot with Phelan is incredulous and so far fetched its a joke.
And thats a shame as he is one the best on Corrie but his days are surely numbered.
While there is a lot of good stuff going on in Corrie, it doesn’t come without its frustrations and OTT stories.
The police hear about an allegation against Anna and go to investigate. They find nothing in the room, not even fingerprints on the window, but when one hears that Rosie had cleaned up and used the vacuum, they are quick to request the contents of the vacuum.
If they are going to be this thorough, how is it that they never interviewed Rosie?
The reason they haven’t interviewed her is that this would mean she would confirm that Phelan was in that room and also that she’s never seen Anna there. Again, if they are going to be this thorough, they would look into whether the place was broken into, but that would only highlight that Anna wouldn’t have had access. This being a solicitor’s office one would think it wouldn’t be left open for anyone to walk in.
None of this makes any sense, nor does it follow any logic, but they can’t go in that direction because they wanted a scene where Anna is arrested and because the writers appear totally clueless, or they think the viewers are thick, they disregard all logic to suit the plot.
Speaking of arresting Anna, how do they get away with knocking on a door and dragging someone into a police car without investigating whether there is a young child left home alone? Anna could have had food cooking on the hob, or the water running a bath, but hey ho, that kind of logic is going to interfere with the plot…
So we’ll say no more and hope no one realises what a screw-up they’ve created.
The Plod Police on Corrie aren't bright, and why dont they have a police station on the corner of the street as not too bright plod are on the street on a weekly basis
Also they turn up at any event, it seems, whereas you or I would wait forever!
OMG I can't take anymore of people getting run over on the street. Like really.
I did feel sorry for Mary. Patti is very good in the role.
It's obvious Mary isn't abusing the baby, and by that I mean, I doubt they would write Mary as an abuser.
So I'm hoping it's going to be something much deeper like Munchausen, maybe Angie struggles with her postnatal depression.
But if they even try and say it has something to do with the florist I will be mad as hell. If there's an allergic reaction to something in Tracy's shop, no way would they have not picked this up.
Yes, she's playing a blinder.
I'm sure you will be pleased to know Shayne Ward is leaving Corrie.
Excellent news. Although it does depend where he ends up next.
I may be way off here but I know how Kate Oates mind works, Is Angie got anything to do with George being Poorly?
I think it's going to turn out to be something to do with her. Munchausen would be a great story, just not sure what justice they would do with it.
As long as it has nothing to do with the flower shop because that's just plain stupid.
The wonderful news about the tedious Shayne Ward leaving has been followed by the rubbish news that Cath Tydesley has quit the show. Am really gutted - Eva is one of the standout characters for me, I think she's marvellous.
She's definitely one of the better young characters. Apart from her revenge story (which dragged on too much), I've enjoyed everything that Eva's been involved in.
