Oh, I don't know, it happens.

My brother's ex-girlfriend (who is the mother of his child) was originally dating my older cousin and after she split from my brother, she started dating my younger cousin. They all still speak with each other at family gatherings.

I know, I say this as a lifelong Dallas fan, but nothing compares to my Dallas.

Loved tonight's episodes with Brian giving Asha a Christmas curse and Cathy high on magic mushrooms.

Peter fighting his demons was great TV and I'm looking forward to seeing how he deals with Billy.

I wonder why they chose to go with Joanna Foster as Susan when she played her for two months in 2001 and not Wendy Jane Walker who played her from 1970-74 & 1985-87 even weirder when they are showing the Wendy Jane Walker years on IT3

It was good to see Carla too.

To be fair, even Peter was miffed, asking Billy to try and figure out who she was.

I didnt watch Corrie on Xmas day but skimmed thro it on ITV2 to see highlight of Carla coming back and I have always liked her and think she is good in her role.

All I can say about Billy falling off the cliff and surviving! What nonsense!! a drop of that height - no way he would survive that drop and didnt see anything that would break his fall

Bouncing Billy !!! - and he is awake and talking a scene or 2 later!! Unrealistic Corrie strikes again

And since i didnt watch it all, how have they written Todd out?? -- I liked him and sorry he lost his career in a drunk moment of madness

I've totally loved this week's festive fun from Corrie.

All the scenes with the Barlows have had me glued to the screen. Ken taking charge of the whole 'Billy killed Susan' story has been my favourite part. It reminded me of the Ewings and how they normally fight among themselves, but when an outsider comes in and messes with them, they band together so tight and neatly.

Carla's return has been exciting and I'm wondering what her secret is, could she be ill, is that what she's hiding? She's certainly throwing her money around and trying to make everyone else in her family better off, well apart from Jenny, I hope we see fireworks between these two ladies.

At first, I thought they were going down the 'let's make Gail stupid' road, but no, she was deliberately acting like that to get rid of the kids, brilliant :D

I thought they did Todd's exit well.

And it wouldn't be Christmas if we didn't have Rita blast out a tune.

Thought I would dip into Corrie since Carla is back - I dont think i can totally turn my back on Corrie but have decided if im in I will watch,if im out I wont bother to catch up with it unless someone on here says otherwise! So a monday is a lazy night for me in general.

The Bistro scenes with Chesney / Sinead were awful as were the scenes in the RR - Honestly??!!

Also how can the Corrie factory workers, currently not earning a wage ,afford it??????

on a plus note - The touching Carla and Roy and Barlow's united we stand and support each other scenes were much better - Corrie needs to focus on this much more than the nonsense they dish up!

Having said this - I am loving Ken's Darth Vader/Equalizer routines at the bottom of Billy's bed.

Same thing happened with John Stape a few years ago when he too miraculously survived a fall from a hospital building.

Her scenes with Roy were wonderful. Now that she's back, here's hoping we see more Roy & Carla.

They had Todd pull up a car and shout Summer to join him and then he drove away.

As far as the story goes, no one knows, all they know is that he drove off with Summer.
Only you will know that answer... :D

The whole Barlow stuff is brilliant, I'm really pleased with what Kate Oates has done with this family, they've always been at the heart of the show and yet for some years, they were missing.

She's even managed to make Ken an interesting character.
