I do not condone senseless violence one iota. Not one iota. However, I would possibly turn a blind eye to a gang of Hell's Angels beating the crap out of Rita with bike chains.

    The old soak.

I can't wait for Eileen to find out the truth about Phelan this week.

It's been a long time coming and I'm going to relish every minute.

I thought the two-parter of David's rape was well-executed. But, of course, Fiz was present throughout, stinking up the place.

There was a lotta laughs in tonight's episode with Oliver covered in SEMI marker pens. :D:D

I was hoping that Jenny would bump into Martin which is a shame.

    Adam was a lad.
Loved Roy having ago at Rosmeary and LOL moment with Brian describing her as a cross between Doris Stokes and Geoff Capes.

The screaming at Oliver covered in pens was funny, although I've said it before and I'll say it again - Leanne does my HEAD IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, but my favourite parts were when Tracey would take the mickey out of Oliver and Leanne.

The actor who plays that boring and miserable character Zeedan has quit the show.

I'm all for rehabilitation, which is why I would insist that Simon is sent straight to Borstal for at least 10 years.

Great to finally see Mick Johnson on the cobbles too.

As for Phelan - Tick Tock !!!

    SPOILER ALERT

    :omg:

So, is that the end of Phelan?

    Apparently not.

I believe he is to reappear on the cobbles during Britain's Got Talent (live finals) week.

Until we see a dead body then I will never believe its the end.

As much as I loved the final showdown and seeing the residents finally realise the true crimes from Phelan, I need to see him rot in jail. I don't want him dead. So having him narrowly escape death this time is good, at least there's still a chance he will end up behind bars and then hopefully Anna is freed and visits him to rub it in.

Probably my favourite two episodes of Corrie all decade, tonight.

Months, even years I've been waiting for the residents to learn the truth about Phelan and they played it to perfection. The gossiping, the accusations, it was all there. Definitely, Corrie at it's best yet since Oates took over.

Then to end it with Phelan was the icing on the cake, at least they're not dragging out 'is he dead?' to the viewers.

I've been somewhat bored with Craig's story, but that changed last night after we saw the actor really break down.

I also think they're doing David's ordeal some real justice and I hope they delve deep into the mind of Josh, I want to know what his motives are. If he's done this before, does he really think it's okay?

I know there have been complaints about the lack of humour in Corrie, but I hope that they really don't think Dev & Chesney were funny last night with the fish suit. It was cringe at its best.

I want Eileen to go into the Rovers when Tracey is there spouting out about how she thinks Eileen must have known all along.

    Tuned into 2nd half

David was excellent but i still cant get used to his curly hair and beard, but a powerful performance

and loving Liz and Tracey again!

BUT Jude???????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a personality and great addition to the cast -NOT - like a plank of wood and personality of something at the bottom of the ocean

and the fake and contrived scenes at the Sea world/marina / Sea life or whatever its called - cringe -

Corrie can do it so well tonight- ie David - and so badly like Mary/Jude and family and anything with Chesney!

The likes of Chesney, Simon and Amy should have been re cast years ago. Dreadful child acotrs who some have turned into even worse young adult actors. Appalling.

I think the actor playing Jude is doing a fantastic job in his role, I really feel his insecurities coming through his mannerisms.
