Count me in that team too.

I can't stand the way Johnny has gone since Aidan's death. He's been cruel to Jenny and then going after Liz was the final straw, well that was until last night when he declared war over Susie.

What truly pisses me off about the Connors right now is the fact they have learnt nothing from Aidan's suicide. They claim to care and yet cannot see how they treated Aidan. Constantly looking to blame everyone else, when they themselves kicked Aidan out on the street, they cut him out of their lives after what he did with Eva & Marie. Also, I think when you lose someone to suicide (not that I know, so it's just a guess) that you would be careful in how you treat people. Carla was nasty to both Alya and Eva when she has no idea what their state of minds are like.

I understand the part where they will feel defensive against the factory and even Susie, but it's not just that, it's how bitter they are and they show no compassion for anyone. I honestly believe if they had sat down with Alya and discussed the whole situation, the way things were when Aidan wrote his Will could have worked out much better for everyone.

Is there going to be a twist and Adam is the Daddy?

Would a flat in Salford (Weathefield) a run down borough get £600.00 a month rent?

I thought Craig heard Kayla talking about her dad to her mum. Did that not happen, or is he really that stupid?

I can't decide whether I like this or not.

I missed this part, what's it referring to?

Flora must stay on the cobbles, she's such a wonderful character, I only hope that this inheritance isn't going to be her exit story.

It was Audrey putting Maria's rent up in the flat.

Oh yeah, now I remember. I was thinking it was something to do with Abi.

I read they had a story coming up where Maria goes into business on her own as a rivalry to Audrey, so this is sounding like the start of that story.

I'm all for Audrey getting more screen time, but Maria...? :brick:

Team Eva all the way. Brilliant when she put Johnny back in his box. You lost your Wife, you lost your Son, you lost your factory and you are going to loose your Grandaughter. Boom. Eva is back in town.

Delighted Liz has got the sack. :byebye:

That was brilliant. Now I just want to see Liz sacked from the medical centre and Simon battered by a crazy Toyah.

The Connors throwing their weight around as ever, Michelle is vile as always, the only Connor i ever really respected was Carla since she's worked hard to where she got to mostly on her own, I can understand her attachment to the factory.

But Jonny is a dead beat dad and Eva is right he is partially to blame for Aiden's death, he always belittled him and put him down.

I also feel sorry for Jenny, she is the one person who could understand what its like to lose a child and have mental health issues and Jonny treats her like she's dirt what she supposed to do!

I've always loved Carla and her best partnership was with Peter. That said, I've not enjoyed the person she's become since getting closer to Johnny and I've hated how she treated Alya. I think Alya can be a hard-faced woman and I'm not her biggest fan, but Carla's treatment of her in the factory has been wrong on many levels. I honestly think that had they sat down and discussed Aidan's will Alya would probably have gone with the 18% with is what Aidan had at the time he created his Will.
What a turnaround it's been for Jenny, she was so bitter towards Rita and she came across like a gold-digger when first chasing Johnny, but as time went by she's the only one with an ounce of compassion for others outside that Connor family.

It's all me, me, me with her.

    Absolutely spot on.

Yes Carla needs to distance herself away from Jonny and Kate, I hope she and Peter do find some common ground, Carla is best when she's not a part of any one unit, she works better when she's floating around different groups and residents on the street.

Yes Michelle is extremely self centred and needs to remove that pickle from her arse, yes she lost her baby, but that's no excuse to act high and mighty.

Jenny is fantastic, I hope she divorces Jonny and takes him to the cleaners, she deserves a man with ready made family so she can become a step mum, she would be becoming Rita mk2 who was her stepmother, I think Jenny could go into fostering.

Eva; I'm 100% on her side, she made a mistake with Susie but she's really the only one who can put Jonny in his place, rapidly losing respect for Liz.

Yes and I forgot to mention how great her scenes with Roy are.
I love this idea, it would make a great direction for Jenny to go.
Totally, and like the majority we all make them.

I always want to throw in that Eva was determined to terminate her pregnancy and if it wasn't for Toyah, Susie might not be here. Yeah, I get Toyah's role in all this, but I can see how she got to where she did.

Sally Ann Matthews is the best thing about this show right now. Heads and Shoulders above the rest.

Eileen shut up. I wish Tracey would hit her over the head with a vase/ash tray object thing or just smack her in the gob with a pack of frozen peas.

Can i tape Gemma's gob up, especially when she is eating and talking at the same time, the dirty moo. :crazyme:

    Have i missed much?

Are Ena and Minnie still in it? is Elsie Tanner pregnant, it seems that long ago! ;)

I liked Jenny aka Sally Anne Matthews - @Walford Boy always thought she had a lovely colour of hair! And she is a good wee actress.

I always loved Jenny back in the day and I was extremely happy she returned in 2015. I thought it was for only a small stint, but two years later she is still here and even though I loved the character, I never expected her to take centre stage in Corrie as far as crediting her along with the other Corrie Greats of years gone by. She is such a pleasure to watch, whether she's playing the drunk, or the abused housewife, she pulls it off every time.

Off topic I love your avatar Ome, love Sunetra Sarker and Ackley Bridge. A grown up version of Waterloo Road.

It's a great show and I think it's like Waterloo Road in the beginning, though I agree with your 'grown-up' version. I hope it doesn't end up as ridiculous as WR did in those final years. Lots of great characters to root for.
