No love this time?
It goes without saying, Sar, my love.
I'm loving the idea of Tyler being involved in this.
God what a skank. Who is he?
He was a friend of Simon Barlow who got him involved in various robberies and vandalism. Then when Simon was caught he spoke out about Tyler, who then started to terrorise Simon. Then Tyler's mum got involved by bribing Peter to get a job at the factory or she would set Tyler on to Simon.
I'm sick of them focusing on Michelle all the time and I hate it when they write characters bumping (or almost) into each other in unexpected places.
BTW, what happened to her job as a wedding planner?
Said it before and will continue to say it. She was brought in as an ex pop star - she has done ok but has NO storyline. Time for her to go. She's at the centre of every drama going.
I really don't care about an actor's background, all I want to see is great characters being used correctly and we have plenty of those, that outweigh the weaker actors.
I also think Kim plays her character well, it's the writers who do my head in by having her feature in so many storylines.
Absolutely loved Jack filming the deputy bullying Brian, one up for the good guys!!
Gina was goes around comes around.
It was frustrating watching Chesney & Emma trying to find each other, if only Chesney had kissed Gemma much earlier, he would have found Emma because that's how it works in soapland.
Who took Audrey's money? Nick? Gary?
Thank goodness for Emma.
The writing feels like its getting sloppy again.
So Steve wanted to get Jiggy with Tracey.
Moving scenes with Sinead and Daniel in the hospital.
Loved last night's scenes with David shaving Nick, it reminded me of Dallas with John Ross & JR.
I hope they can forgive Gina.
If Marcia was put in solitary for beating up Sally, then that means the authorities knew she was guilty, right?
So why would they put her back in the same cell of the one who she beat up?
Oh yeah, so they can stretch the plot more and to hell with neat writing and creativity.
Lots of fun stuff in tonight's double bill (well, apart from Daniel & Sinead)
Laughed and laughed at Mary's conversation with Tracy over sex.
Loved the girls getting drunk and loving the friendship building between Sally & Abi. I hope Corrie doesn't screw up this one, it will be fun seeing Tim living with Abi too.
David squirting Audrey & Claudia was another cracker.
Many funny scenes and none of them with Kirk, Sean, Chesney, Dev or Tyrone which I think the producers believe are comical characters.
I haven't seen Corrie for months (Shayne Ward leaving) and read that Amy is pregnant in todays papers
cant Corrie come up with something original for a teenager??
Honestly, Its been, seen done and bought the T shirt on that score ( Sarah Lou, Potato face Faye) and does every Corrie teen need to be liberal with her favours ages 14. Its repetitive and lazy writing.
I don't have an issue with repeated storylines, especially on a long-running show. For me, it may be the same story, but it's about the characters at that moment and how they deal with it.
Kinda like the 'who shot JR' story, I thought it was very clever of Dallas to re-run that story, only change the character to Bobby.
Teenage pregnancies are always happening, so why not tell the story again in another fashion.
Look at Line of Duty, we both love that show, but each series is always about a corrupt cop and it runs with a similar format where Kate Flemming goes undercover etc...
