I found it unbelievable that Shona came out of the house looking whiter than an Irishman in winter, yet 5 minutes later was walking round the hospital with her full colour restored.

I don't mind the repetition as long as it's given a new twist of some kind. I like to surprise myself by saying, "That's different" or "I didn't see that one coming".

    Adam was a lad.
Shona has got over stabbing her son very quickly.

What is Sarah doing with Gary? She can do so much better and I don't mean Seb. Nick and David feeling guilty and so they should.

Out of all the soaps I watch and characters in them, Gemma revolts me the most.

Agreed @Walford Boy - Gary has never really gotten over his 'bumfluff' stage. It's horrible.

I did like Gemma but she is REALLY grating on me now. It's clear that Lolly is going to cause problems for Kate and Rana.

I can't believe Helen Worth hasn't had a word with the writers over how stupid Gail has become. It's embarrassing.

Faye's facial expressions and her over pronounciation of every word REALLY get to me. That mouth!

I'm glad she did, the acting during all that was awful and cringey. I hate it when Corrie tries to do this kind of drama, the whole thing just takes it to a level of pure trash and embarrassment.

We've all longed for the show to introduce more elderly characters and they're onto a winner with Evelyn, but sadly I find the character of Tim's father just dreadful and his story with Yasmeen made my toes curl, not that this was to do with him trying to take their relationship to the next level, but the way he is as a character. He's in your face, but not in an entertaining way.

@Ome - totally agree. It was cringeworthy but also unbelievable that he didn't give her the chance to explain.

It's been obvious from the beginning how difficult Yasmeen was finding the situation, we already had a situation where he tried to stay over and she wriggled out of it. So for him to not realise this shows the lack of depth the character has. How can you want to take something to the next level when you can't see what's right in front of you?

If he cared anything for her he would have (at least) let her talk about it.

There's nothing I like about him, he doesn't seem to have any decent qualities about him.

It is just cringey - they aren't suited at all. I felt bad for her that he treated her like that.

I really like Gemma, I always have, but even I'm finding her too much these days. They need to tone her down a little, nope a lot otherwise I'm going to find her annoying to watch.

    Speaking of annoyance!!

I noticed Emily's niece Freda is returning to the street 9 years after her last appearance.

Now, is she returning as part of Norris Cole's brief return, or is she coming back to bring the sad news of Emily's death....?

Yes she is getting a bit much - she was never that bad before @Ollie james.

Gary is being far too hard on Seb and really should be the bigger person. He's being really immature about the whole Seb/Sarah thing.

Watching both Gary and Seb recently and they remind me of cavemen you would see in children's books. They keep snarling at each other and I'm waiting for one of them to pick up a club and batter them on the head.

    Ah - that makes sense.

I couldn't think why she would return as part of Norris' return, but now I get it.

Michelle's exit can't come soon enough and Billy is starting to irritate me a lot too.

Loved all the scenes with David & Gail.

Also loving Evelyn being back on the street and even though her put-downs are typical classic Corrie, I also enjoy the softer, more sensitive side to her.

I know it's like give her a few screams to get her another 'acting' award.

Gail is a caricature of her former self. I don't know why Helen Worth is happy to play her now, it's so comical and sad.

Not a popular opinion, but I love the way Gail is today.
