Sorry, but Zayn's songs do absolutely nothing for me.
Haha, but that's not what I meant. That version is acoustic with a dancebeat, the intonation is still the same. Oh well, it's in my top 3, isn't it?:D

I think that's why it's my least favorite of the three songs he's released so far. It's a very pretty song, but having it evolve the way you describe would have made it better in my opinion.

    1. Time Don’t Run Out On Me
I generally prefer country ballads over Eighties synth, which shows this has to be really good.

    2. A Little Good News
Sadly, this is as relevant today as ever. Probably even more so.

    3. You Needed Me
This is one I can't listen to very often. It's just too beautiful.

    4. Danny’s Song
I enjoy the truthful and sweet message. And I enjoy Anne's equally gorgeous version with Martina McBride.

    5. I Just Fall In Love Again
I was familiar with the Carpenters version first, but never quite got the song until I heard Anne's take on it. She did a nice virtual duet with Dusty too.

    6. Over The Rainbow
Anne sounds so sad here it brings out the poignancy of the lyrics.

    7. Could I Have This Dance
    Simple and sweet.

    8. Snowbird
    Pain wrapped in beauty.

    9. A Love Song
    Another really sweet one.

    10. Daydream Believer
Ever since the karaoke fad I cannot stand the Monkees' version. Anne made me enjoy it all over again.

I also discovered her coverversion of "The End Of The World" - in fact, quite a few artists have done this song, including ABBA's Agnetha.
But because the song is a melodramatic teenybopper's story, it only really works if it's sung in a 1960s teenybopper's voice e.g. Skeeter Davis or Brenda Lee.

Me too @Mel O’Drama, I just only knew the song "I Just Fall In Love Again" from the Carpenters for a long time, until later I discovered that Anne Murray and Dusty Springfield also sang this song.

But this song is so linked to the Carpenters for me, that i unfortunately did not choose Anne's version, but she sings this song so just as beautiful as the Carpenter's version.

Today I heard a great song on the radio. I had no idea who the artist was. Googled it. Turns out it was Harry Styles with the song Sign of the Times. I had no idea that I liked a former One Direction member's song.
So then I got curious. Did this song rank high over here when you recently did One Direction solos? Happy to learn that it won.:clap:
