When do you adjust the clock 1 hour forward? Or do you do that at all? I read messages on instagram today about daylight savings. We don't adjust the clock forward an hour until March 25th in Sweden.

The majority of people here don't want daylight saving time (or 'summer time') at all. So much so that our government is looking into scrapping the whole thing. I prefer if we stay permanently on DST rather than standard time. I hate that it's so dark when I finish work in winters!

I don't like it because it costs me an hour of my free time. Therefore I suggest that from now on we do it during working hours (but not when we turn the clock backwards of course).
This is going to make everybody happy, problem solved.

We in the USA adjusted to daylight savings time this past Sunday, 11 March. It's never fun to lose an hour sleep. [IMG]

British Summer Time (or Greenwich Mean Time + 1) begins on the last Sunday in March at 1:00 (GMT). So we're in sync with Sweden.

I hate the way everyone keeps saying Spring is here just because there's been a bit of sunshine. Spring hasn't even anywhere near started yet.

The governor of Florida has proposed we "withdraw" from adjusting DST every year, and just remain in EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) permanently. The state legislature is pushing around a bill to make it legal. Personally it doesn't matter to me one way or the other, and since most electronic devices update the time regardless of which state you live in, it might not matter if the legislature passes the bill "just for Florida". There are parts of the US that already don't join in on it (Arizona, Hawaii, Alaska, parts of Indiana), so who knows? I understand why it was implemented, but times have changed.

I guess the people who never got around to changing the clock in their car were actually "rebellious" and "forward thinking" rather than just "lazy".
