I was going to vote for #2, but those glass doors make it less cozy.
The thin French furniture is pretty to look at, but not very inviting. Save it for the coffee-table book room.
Windows-sans-curtains is not an option, although I could live with the one that has a view on the Colorado mountains (and a certain mansion too, I hope?)
I agree, but I'm okay with the lack of curtains when the windows are so high up only an eagle could peek in...
They look a bit like my study when I was at Harrow. My fag used to clean it for me so that I didn't beat him.

I have very traditional taste.
This one looks like it could have been the set for a 1930s movie.
This one is a little bit more French, I usually gravitate to English design.
This one is very cozy, it would be in my penthouse.
I'm not crazy about the fabrics in this one but I do like the dogs.
