Rather fitting for Steven's ashes to be next to Abi's smalls.
I was hoping Stacey was going to give Carmel a good old clout.
The community came together when they heard about their local. In the real world would they really care? how many folk go down the pub these days? If it was turned into flats, so be it. Shame they won't be social housing. If people want a drink or 3, they can go to the minute mart and get it half the price. But this isn't the real world this is Walford.
I think there are probably several communities where the local pub is still important. Obviously it's exaggerated in Enders.
I am enjoying it at the moment and see the pieces of the whole Max thing coming together. Just needs Lauren in the mix with that guy she was seeing to start bringing it all together in the build up to Christmas.
I still struggle with Ian at the moment, his wife has left him and his 'son' is dead and yet he doesn't seem to care. Although maybe after Lucy's death anything is mild in comparison but would be nice if they highlighted this in some way.
I like Bonnie Langford but wonder if she will stick around after this story reaches a conclusion.
But great to see Kathy with a storyline and I always enjoy seeing her alongside Phil.
Bonnie Langford is good but i don't think there is a place for her in the sqaure really. I hope Carmel finds happiness and leaves the sqaure.
We are back to Shouty Ben, Harry Reid is pretty ropy at times. Natalie Cassidy was excellent tonight, Bex has let herself down big time. I enjoyed the scenes with Kim, Donna and Robbie in the Market.
A good set of episodes. Line of the night goes to Michelle when they asked where Phil was ""Sharon's put him in quarantine."
Carmel is a nosy parker. She deserved a slap. Harry Reid's acting ability goes from good to poor in seconds.
So Kim is preganant. She looked pleased. She has proved to be a good mum.
I can't condone violence, I'm afraid. So I wouldn't like to see anyone get a slap. Apart from Billy Mitchell. He needs a right royal kicking by a gang of Hell's Angels wearing hob nailed boots.
Do you get me ?
I had a dream last night that I helped Kathy Beale fake her own death again so that she could run away with Patrick Bergin. And it all took place in Emmerdale's veterinary surgery. #redwineinducedsoapdream
I don't often watch EastEnders but I saw it last night. I thought the episode was going to end of them discovering Woody had stolen all their money when he left because the Carters were all joyous at almost reaching their financial target. I really like Bonnie Langford though, she's such a good actress.
I enjoyed that episode tonight, Max is a swine, i almost felt sorry for Carmel, almost. I hope Kush beats the crap out of Max on Monday. Loved JWB at the end, so funny.
Fi and I plan to run away together. We have expressed our feelings to each other and it all sound great to me. Especially the bit where she said she just can't get enough sex whilst watching football on the TV.
I don't like all this ganster nonsense with Aidan. The rest of the episode was good. JWB has got some nerve drinking in the Vic.
Wasn't keen on the ending with Stacey and Max. This is EE greatest hits, not a good idea imo.
There is a strange vibe about the episodes this week, like the producers and script writers have been on weed.
I can honestly say hand on heart for alot of this week i have not had a scooby doo what has been going on in Albert Square and i have watched the episodes.
After watching the last epsidoe of the week i am almost giving up on this soap, while John Yorke is in charge. He is the equivalent of the Stuart (The Hat) Blackburn who was on Corrie.
its more interesting than stories about bins, I don't think we're supposed to know everything that is going on yet, the Aidan/his wife stuff feels like a slowburner.
Give me bin gate everytime over this cobblers.
Ben's exit what a let down. The episode was terrible if i am being honest. Maisie Smith is appalling. Were the Masood and Karen scenes meant to be funny? John Yorke you are killing this show, go away!!!!
Max sticking a picture of the original Lauren above Abi's hospital bed was a nice touch.
