The Dot and Karen scenes are working well. I am almost feeling sorry for Max. Thank goodness June Brown has returned to the square. A much needed boost to the show. Compelling scenes with Dot, Max and Jack. Nice surprise to see TJ back.

What a powerful episode. Well acted, some nice touches like having Rainie return, Jo Joyner's performance stood out for me, the look of disgust she gave Max was so powerful and perfect, no words were needed, pleased she allowed Max back into the room, but loved her rejection of him. Dot getting upset and not being able to fisnish her sentence when giving Abi the Teddy Bear brought a lump to my throat and the scenes with Jay and Lauren over the text was very moving. The credits at the end in black and no music was very effective.

The only downside to the episode were the Tiffany scenes. What annoyed me was the fact they turned TJ into an unlikeable character, just so we could like Tiffany. Is it not the job of Terry and Bianca to look at Tiff, TJ is only the step brother after all.

The nation was cheering when Martin threw that flibbertigibbet, fanny bag wash out. They are turning Stacey into a Slater slut just in time for the clan to return.

My advise go for custody Martin, who in their right mind would let Stacey look after the kids.

I am liking Halfway now, a good addition to the Vic. A gormless Kirk like character but less annoying. Nice to have Michelle back.

P.S It is a bit like having a one way conversation on here re EastEnders, where is everybody?????

Ciara obviously bought those bootleg Enders DVDs on ioffer. Her knowledge of past storylines is exceptional.

I don't watch EastEnders regularly so I might be wrong about this. I was watching yesterday and thought Stacey looked quite different, like she had some cosmetic work done. I can't put my finger on what was different but it looks like something like lip fillers or botox. For a family that seem to be not be flushed with money, it seems like a bit of an unnecessary extravagance for the character.

Fridays episode was complete rubbish, but i did enjoy it. If you ignore the fact Mick could have knocked Aidan from here to kingdom come and King Philip of Walford couldn't remove the custard from a tifle then all is good and dandy. If Jack had come to Mick's side and helped him beat Aidan and his little gang that would have made more sense.

The promotional clip re Kat's return looks tacky as. :ms:

I have to say a master class in acting from Bonnie Langford, she broke my heart.

She really is an incredible actress. I often find actors doing the distraught grieving relative are hammy and unconvincing (e.g. Prissy Presley in Dallas) but Bonnie Langford has nailed the part. She is almost too good for EastEnders and wouldn't be out of place in major films competing for the top acting awards.

I like the writing for Karen, the scenes with the Taylors and Ted is spot on and one of the best things about the show. I am not sure when Stuart is telling the truth and when he is not.

I loved the Shirley and Jean scenes, I am pleased they have remembered their friendship. Credit to Ricky Champ he makes Stuart almost to uncomfortable to watch.

There was no need to bring Ollie back if Jean is staying in the show, it would have been better if Jean said they had just drifted apart. Bernie and Tiff is an interesting story line.

Line of the week goes to Max when he said Cora was Donald Trump in high heels with a blond wig. :danc:

Lisa Hammond deserved a better exit than that. I hope she goes back to the drama Vera, she was very good in it, a couple of series ago.

What does it take for Mick to believe Tina? Finally the penny drops. Hayley was out of order doing that to Keanu's cap even though he looked a twit in it.

Is there an omnibus edition of Eastenders any more?

I would not blame Sharon if she did go after Keanu. He would service her needs. :p Unlike like that plank of wood Phil!

Just caught up with last ep of the week. Sets next week up nicely with the Carters and Stuart.

So Sharon and Keanu finally kiss. I know it will end in tears, but Sharon go for it!

Billy you only have yourself to blame. I like the friendship and scenes between Honey and Kim in the minute mart.

Tamzin Outhwaite was good in Friday's episode. I wonder how this story is going to pan out?

I am really liking Bernadette, i know Tiff is a friend but she needs to dump her and leave her to sink into her own mess. Don't get involced Bernie. Silly girl.

I agree the scenes between Denny and Bernie were subtle and very good.

I am hoping Keanu gets Jagger on his own and beats the crap out of him.
