I was in a production meeting this morning which started really early and I hadn't had my usual much needed dose of coffee. So when I got there, I thought 'fabulous!' - there was coffee and a lovely selection of pastries on the table. They were apricot and strawberry and chocolate and just looked phenomenal - there were also pieces of fruit dotted round them - strawberries and grapes. This meeting started and NO ONE made a move on the pastries. Meanwhile I start to salivate. The meeting lasted for an hour and by the end of it - NO ONE had touched any of them. So I became completely distracted as to why no one was eating the pastries. I usually just say what I'm thinking but it wasn't appropriate here. When is it okay to say 'Why is no one eating the pastries???!'
