Thanks for sharing. Emma Samms always comes over really well in interviews - interesting, grounded and never too full of herself.
Maybe it also depends on how attached they are to "their" show. I guess it matters more to Joan Collins and Gordon Thomson and I find that somewhat understandable.
For some actors it's easier to "move on", I think.
Well, like she says, "If I were still on the acting treadmill in Los Angeles, battling for ever-diminishing roles then I’d probably have a better chance of being spiteful." And Fallon was never her part to begin with. And maybe she also realises that being gracious is just a better look.

Although that comment isn't very gracious. Not every actor has a husband, a horse and a foundation. They need to have those roles.
I've been following Emma Samms on Twitter for years now (along with other former Dynasty stars active on that platform, like Joan Collins or Maxwell Caulfield) and it's always joy to step into her world. She is a lovely, pleasant and positive presence there. And I of course love it when she talks about Dynasty or The Colbys.
Emma Samms has always come off lovely in interviews and I loved her comments here. I don’t understand the bitterness from some of the older cast members. If I were them I’d be excited. This reboot has brought new attention to the original and even got us a complete series DVD in the US. I wish they were more open so we could have people like Joan Collins appear.
Gordon Thomson was excited, but not in a positive way (although his comments were based on the pilot episode)
John James was disappointed that they didn't do a sequel series (starring himself, naturally).
Joan Collins is....Joan Collins (and she doesn't know anything about it, yeah right!)
There's never a good reason not to be gracious, but sometimes people get emotional about the things that matter to them.
It's not like everyone on this forum put the flags out when it was announced that it was going to be a remake (produced for CW).
If I were an ex-Dynasty actor I honestly don't know how I'd feel about this remake...maybe relieved.
