    Adam was a lad.
I like the friendship between Adam and Aaron and I am pleased they have not given into temptation and made them a couple, it is pretty clear Aaron loves Adam and would do anything for him. It is a good dynamic to have a best friend that is straight and a friend that is gay.

Danny Miller has been excellent this week with his scenes at the gym with Jason.

I know Adam is a cretin, but I did feel slightly sorry for him getting battered by Jason.

It was lovely to see Adam getting properly beaten up. Heart warming and everything is okay with the world.

Here it is big secret the SCRIPTWRITERS of Emmerdale have left the building. The chimps with the typewriters who eventually managed Hamlet got bored with Shakespeare and decided to script a few episodes of Emmerdale.New storyline for character DEBBIE (dads looks , mums 2 dozen brains cells) she Walks she Talks all be it in a monotone , she has the Charisma and Sex Appeal of a cold rice pudding and would be very very lucky if somebody gave her a used Vespa , top of the range luxury car ( those naughty chimps) .finally when is the beer swilling vicar going to explain Christianity to màd bad EMMÀ

Please let Paddy and Chas be over. I simply cannot comprehend anyone being attracted to such moronic behaviour.

Tonight's Emmerdale reminded me of early 1986 when Harry Mowlem was murdered after a big fight with Matt Skilbeck. We didn't get to know until a few months later that it was Derek Warner who really finished him off.

    That made compelling viewing too.

Emmerdale is strong at the moment and dare I say it but its now for me Britain's number one soap, EastEnders is relying upon its history too much and Corrie has been lost for some years now and both of them have strayed into meandering through their storylines and dragging then out for months and months, Corrie's saving grace was Bethany's storyline.

Emmerdale has gotten stronger I only hope this continues.

I quite enjoyed the storyline where Bob imagined that he had sex with Laurel to the point where he actually believed it happened. Whereas, she was with me. In Peterborough. She also said that meeting me was the best thing that ever happened to her. I told her not to become too clingy but that I'd try and be there for her when she wanted sex.

Excellent Christmas day episode. Recurrent nightmares can follow a traumatic experience and Emmerdale portrayed it brilliantly with Robert. Not the first time it's happened either. Remember when Jack suffered a breakdown following Pat's death in 1986 and began hallucinating? Robert is a mirror image of his late father in that respect.

I agree, I must admit I did enjoy the Christmas ep. The groundhog day theme worked well and Ryan Hawley was very funny. I suspect Robron fans won't be too happy with the ending. But Emmerdale yet again stretch the boundaries of where they can go and i applaud them for trying to be a bit different.

    Loved Val's return. [IMG]

The was the best part of the episode. When she told Robert he'd gotten gayer since she passed . . .

I should feel sorry for Brenda, but I don't. She is so annoying. :scream: Is Brenda over feeding Bob's kids, they look like Billy and Edna Bunter.

Bob would be better with Lauren, but she may turn to the Vodka if she has to look after 5 kids.

With all the talk about Tom Waterhouse being a possible relation of the Tates, it may well be the case, and I, myself, have also hinted at that...

But, even if he turns out not to be, it wouldn't make a difference to me as a viewer. As long as it's a good storyline, it doesn't really matter whether he's related to a past character, or not.

Let's face it, the Tates were not related to any of the other villagers when they first appeared in 1989, and look at the cult following they got.
