It seems the 20seconds-issue has been resolved by now. Have you repaired it, @Ome ?
I cleaned out some unwanted spooks. I wasn't sure if it would make a difference, so it's good to know it has had some effect.
Yes, that's always good after Halloween.
When I click on 'members' or try to click on 'recent activity' I get:
Soap Chat - Error
You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.
What's going on? Have I been dismembered? Or is this happening to anyone else?
Ok, either it's sorted itself out or a kindly moderator has been tirelessly working behind the scenes to remedy this. If so, thanks!
I had just gotten out of the shower and I was only wearing a towel wrapped around my head like a turban, so I had to block all snooper's activity for a while.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Oh don't apologize, you probably did me a favour.
R oui posting our own photos now??
Did anyone else get this about 20 minutes ago?
Ugh, nimbushosting.... just the name makes me agressive.
Was it offline for everyone yesterday?
Pretty much all day here too
I was so afraid that all was lost AGAIN.
I save all my Forum data twice daily,
morning and night,
locally and externally,
so can only lose half day of stuff, and is easily replaced,
by asking who has lost over night and redo just those posts again.
Like wise, if the forum broke for some reason,
it would be a matter of re creating the forum again,
with all the extensions etc that was used before,
and then put in the last saved data.
All back to normal again.
That's how it should be and that's what i at least expect as a user of any forum. Otherwise it would be in the wrong hands..
It is also a good idea to tell Members (users) intentions of upcoming changes, and to also state after an event what happened, so we get the feel of how thing work or fail.
Example: we are adding a new extension tonight at 22:00, and there will be an interruption for 5 minutes.
or we are updating software and will be down for an hour at 23:15 tonight.
