I thought this was mildly amusing. I wasn't aware youtube had most seasons of Dallas up on their website to purchase and view but the startling realization The Dream Season was absent is rather telling. And oddly enough it's the season I'd like to view the most.

Clearly The Dream Season was wiped from youtubes servers because it was all a figment of Pam's imagination.

That’s cause it never happened.....no use watching it. I’d also omit “Roseanne’s” Season 09, too.

Except it did happen on Knots Landing. Ugggg

so are they going to carry the two after movies as they didn’t happen in Dallas 2012. Or do they not carry Dallas TNT?

Although I've never tried it, I'd imagine going straight from 'Swansong' to 'Return to Camelot' would be pretty jarring for a number of reasons.

That's a real pity because the dream season was a great season of Dallas.

    2017 I think (unless it is 2016)
So when exactly does Pam start dreaming? It actually was not just the dream season, because she also dreamed "Swansong" right? So the last episode should also not be part of the canon.

I admit, when I watched the entire season on Dailymotion, I totally skipped the Dream Season. It’s pretty much a waste of time because it didn’t happen. Is it even canon?

And if I’m not mistaken, that was the end of Knots Landing ever referring to anything about Dallas ever again.

They'd be better off deleting 11-14 than 9.

I've never actually considered that. Of course the most jarring one would be the notable change in Miss Ellie.

Pierce Lawton talks about Ewing Oil and Gary being “the Ewing that never happened” in Season 13 and Mack talks about Lucy being in Europe in Season 14.

That makes sense because the dream season wouldn’t affect Gary being a Ewing.

After witnessing Bobby's death - traumatic by the way - I was looking forward to the next season - more than any other. I was excited to see where the writers would take us after the shocking death of a Ewing. And there was one character I was itching to see where they would take him; JR.

If Bobby would have lasted longer for the reconciliation sex, she wouldn't have had enough time to dream that long. So it's Bobby's fault of course.:elvis:

On a rewatch marathon once I went straight from Swansong and stopped the episode just after Donna and Ray are by the pool at night - straight into Return To Camelot and it actually joins up pretty well.

Personality wise the cast more or less pick up where they were in Swansong so they should be applauded for that.

I’ve said it before but the things that make it jarring are the terrible picture quality, the terrible hair and make up (nobody looks styled any more) and plot wise the sudden story of the oil business being in trouble. That story literally comes out of nowhere

But other than that it joins up pretty well.

I’ve always told people to skip the dream season and the Early Years because TEY falls right in the middle of TDS and didn’t happen, either.

Well if you really wanna see it. You can just get the dream season on DVD. I promise it will be worth it. :)

Oh and I once watched Swansong and Return to camelot after each other to see how they fit and except for some things such as Charlie being away at camp and the women changing hairdos and the real miss ellie being back it did fit quite well.
