Come to think, J.J. and Lexi left together.
Then Freddie left with Lexi.
The new Shane is due to debut as a regular next month. The previous Shane recently turned up on Doctors.
I've looked at this:
Ome, I still don't like it:
This is great.
I'm really (and I mean really) struggling with Ry-Ry. Duncan James is completely frustrating to watch.
But!!! I'm absolutely loving seeing Kathy & Zoe back and they haven't forgotten about Sarah.
I wonder when Maxine will leave Hollyoaks, surely they've run out of stuff to do with her.
They ran out of stuff to do with Maxine at least two years ago--and yet there she still is.
I honestly have no idea why she is still in the show
Contracted until late 2018, unfortunately. Even then, she might stay on afterwards. Although I don't enjoy Maxine's subsequent whining, every time that Darcy plots against her, it warms my heart.
Ha ha!!! That's brilliant and now I'm going to watch her scenes this way.
I never really cared for David Easter's acting, but watching him suffer at the hands of James & Marnie has changed that. He's playing the role very well. I'm now suspecting that if he's had a heart attack, the truth behind the Alzheimer's will come out.
I didn't enjoy Mac until he was being unpleasant and I'm enjoying his suffering. But secrets will out. Except for some of the murders that the regulars occasionally get away with.
Tom learning to drive and passing his test in just two weeks - did that really happen?
I didn't see this one coming....
A familiar face will be making a return to Hollyoaks sometime soon as Gary Lucy, who starred as Luke Morgan on the show between 1999 and 2002, is set to make his return to Chester.
The Daily Star Sunday reported that Gary was on set filming again last week, adding that he's been given an 18-month contract to return to the show.
Gary's original stint on the show saw his character Luke involved in some hard-hitting storylines, including a male rape storyline and his character's later struggle with depression, ultimately leading to a suicide attempt.
Luke later left Hollyoaks to become a school football coach in Canada, but returned briefly in 2002 for his parents' second wedding.
His work on the soap earned him the title of Best Newcomer at the 2000 British Soap Awards, and he followed up his Hollyoaks stint with roles on Footballer's Wives, The Bill and EastEnders.
Gary also took part in two series of Dancing on Ice: the first in 2010, where he finished as runner up, and again in the all star series in 2014, where he placed eleventh.
Wow, that's a blast from the past. Is he even related to anybody on the show now?
I don't think so, the only characters still around from back then are Darren, Jack, Tony & Cindy.
I wonder what they have in store and it's going to last 18 months.
I wondered if maybe he was friends with Darren. I forgot that Cindy has been on for a long time too.
Gary Lucy's IMDb page says he hasn't done anything on TV since 2014. I'd love to know why the show decided to bring him back.
That might have something to do with it. Maybe he still has contacts with the show's producers and they put some ideas together. It would make sense why they have signed him for 18 months.
He was touring in theatre in the latter part of 2014, got married in late 2014 and child number three arrived in 2015.
