So true. As time goes by the less they'll return to the nest for their feedings and Freedom and Liberty will at some point stop feeding them and force our sweet Soap and Chat to get their own food. They do indeed seem to be in some courtship dance here. Baby opossum. Aww, it's so sad when we hit animals while driving. This time of year there are so many birds that fly in front of my car I always look in the rearview mirror to see (my hot face) and if I hit a bird that came close to my car. I've had the misfortune of hitting several birds, squirrels, opossum, raccoon, cat and nearly several deer over the years. I was distraught after hitting the cat. It was just a farm cat but still I've had cats and it meant more to me on some level. Oh, so it's a hotness war over the SC Shirtless Firefighters my dear friend? They would be good posers at our Paris fashion show. Indeed! Could have very well been. Chat is such a dear bird. I will so miss him. I wish we could watch them forever. Chat in a nearby tree from someone on the ground. Speaking of the nest the blue butterfly is seen again. I have and you are correct it's hard to capture. I always like seeing them as they get ready to go to sleep and their eyes get heavy. They have such full days. This photo was from 9 April and I believe Soap was born on 4 April and Chat on 6 April. they were little baby eaglets. They have a secret nest where they just flop out and sleep like out Chat did for so long. I guess they have about four to six months off so to speak after their young start hunting and before they being the same process over again. They do get a steady diet of fish. They always know when food it arriving. I'm glad we still have one good camera to capture this. Great photo! BTW, I leaned finally how to determine who is Soap vs Chat. Soap has some white in her tail and Chat does not. So Soap is he one in the background whilst Chat is the one on the right.
