Just eighteen to go .....
Believe it or not its massively hot here - 82 yesterday and yet the wind keeps blowing, so not the best conditions for getting a photo of the buttercups. Once that wind drops I will take a picture
I think he would like to come in the house and have a nosy around At the moment he has two chicks and I love watching him feed them.
I have no idea who owns the cat, its certainly nobody very near to us. I will have to follow him home one of these days..
I saw a little girl blowing on the dandelion seeds the other day and thats what reminded me of how I used to do it too.
We haven't got any daisies in our garden, but I see plenty on the grass verges by the road and also some fields are covered with them.
Do you see any daisies locally Michelle?
It was delicious, I did cook it on the BBQ and it tasted divine I need to buy more next time as everyone loved them.
Lucky you, it tastes extra yummy when its so fresh.
Hope your week is going well, how is the weather?
Happy Tuesday to you too
Posts to go in 3 days
No pressure friend. Wow, it is indeed warm in the Land of Long Lashes. It's about that warm here.
Where the mother bird? Aww, it must be so nice to watch him feed his young. Birds are fun and relaxing to watch.
LOL! Maybe you should lay on the cat's owner's patio or garden to return the favour. I like the idea of you stalking your garden cat. It's about time the garden cat meets the stealth side of 'Lashes.
You never did this did you?
Yes, we have them by the road around here too during the summer. Occasionally they'll show up in a garden.
Do you have Morning Glories in your area? Another favourite of mine.
Very nice! I'm pleased to hear that your family are fans of Asparagus.
Warm and muggy with some heavy rain the other day. Our A/C has been on. I'm sure you've had your fans on as well. It's not even June.
Hey you, we need to make #1900 by 1 June.
Just 11 to go....
This one is going to be closer than we expected.
Its cooled down very slightly today, now we have - muggy warm and no sun.
The female blackbird is around, but she seems to come alone and fly off with a beak full of food.
Lol!..I suspect the cat would swiftly disappear. I am so intrigued where he comes from.
no, I didn't eat them, that little girl couldn't resist having a taste..Lol!
Yes they are although not in our garden. That picture is gorgeous Michelle, the flowers look beautiful. Does your Mum grow these? We have a rose bush and I noticed today that the flowers are in bud. Also the tomato plants are in flower.
I know its a bit of a shock to have hot weather already. It feels as though we’ve gone from jumpers to T-Shirts with nothing in between. I was out shopping earlier today and it sort of fascinates me what people wear, for instance I saw a woman in a coat and boots. next someone in shorts and a vest top - anything goes
"By June 1sr?"
Crawling to the finish line...
Down to single figures
Down to ...
Whoops! Almost forgot to wish everyone a happy Wednesday
Same here. Just sticky, humid all the time with some rain.
A good mother bird.
Are his appearances consistent, time wise or does he come at all hours of the day?
For some reason I remember doing this when I was about her age. I just remember they tasted bad and I wanted nothing to do with them again.
You have more common sense than I do 'Lashes.
This was a stock photo from the internet. They do spring-up in my mum's garden over the summer. If they do this year, I'll take a photo and share it.
Oh, wow! Please share a photo when your rose blooms. My mum has two, one was mine when I was a small child and the other I gave her from a road trip about twenty years ago. I'll share a photo of them as well when they bloom. I love roses. Wow, you'll have tomatoes before too long. The warmth has really brought your garden to life.
LOL, I know what you mean. It's winter to summer to winter here. Very little spring or autumn.
Just 1 more to go to achieve our #1900 objective...
Next stop 2000!
Well done everyone!
