No need to post the trailer, thanks. I don't wanna barf.
Getting the DVDs out is such a hassle!
And how do they know it would air exactly at the time they want to fall asleep, though? Someone please explain!
If it was repeated, I have a feeling we'd get threads titled, "Dallas on at the wrong time! This is TNT's fault!"
You're right. We've given it enough for today, although it seems pretty self-sustainable, judging by the threads.
I wish we had the funny rating right now
Yes, i miss that too. And some of the other ratings as well. Do we get those back some day?
It is not out yet but Samual Fellows is doing a show called the Gilded Age about New York City in the age of the VanderBuilts. That will be a soap too.
I have a good idea for a series that fits some of the criteria you're looking for. Since the time frame of the original Dallas was 1978-1991, the most exciting huge industry of that time was the rock music industry. The 70s and 80s really were the peak of the rock music era with bands like Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Queen, Van Halen, Metallica and Guns 'n Roses. The strain that being a touring rock musician put on families was incredible. Musicians had to be on the road most of the time so they didn't get to spend as much time with their families as even JR Ewing did. Then there were the aspects of it such as the fame, being heroes to many teenagers and young adults, the women, the money and the drugs.
