@Jessie we also have similar taste of music. :)

    1. Like A Prayer-Madonna
I remember this song from my childhood and that MTV music video. I've seen it countless times.
Also that moment when Madonna sang this at the concert I went to in Stockholm in 2015. Totally unforgetable. :pray:So it had to be my number one.

    2. I Will Survive -Gloria Gaynor
I have such happy memories of going out partying with my friends when we were in our early 20s to this vintage song. It was played a lot at this one nightclub that we loved visiting that had mixed songs from different decades.

    3. What's Love Got To Do With It -Tina Turner
Another song that I remember from my childhood. I think probably Tina Turner's most famous one.

    4. Perfect Illusion -Lady Gaga
I love me some Lady Gaga. She always makes me want to get up and dance. :spinning:

    5. Stayin' Alive-Bee Gees

This one reminds me of the John Travolta movie... ;)
    Also a great party song...

    6. I Don't Wanna Fight -Tina Turner
I made you a JR/SE music video to this song many years ago and it's been special to me since then. :)

    7. Bring Me To Life –Evanescence
I love this song. It reminds me of Buffy & Angel fandom as I first heard it to a music video made by someone else...

    8. Everytime You Go Away-Paul Young
I remember this song from way back too.

    9. How Deep Is Your Love-Bee Gees
I made a Bobby & Pam video to this song many years ago...

    10. I Will Always Love You- Dolly Parton

Although I prefer the Whitney Houston remake of this song I just had to include it as it's so special.

Thanks for your choices, @Jessie. I've got some great memories attached to many of them some of which I'll share here...

    1. Bring Me To Life
    - Evanescence
I can clearly remember hearing this for the first time the first time I watched Daredevil at the cinema back in March 2003. This introduced me to what became one of my favourite artists, so the song is really quite special to me on a number of levels.

    2. Last Dance - Donna Summer
One of my most-played songs of all time from another favourite artist. I've never tired of hearing this one. It sounds so simple but is actually incredibly complex in structure with all these subtle key changes through the full-length version. One of Donna's best and in my eyes the best disco song full stop.

    3. To Deserve You - Bette Midler
Bette Of Roses is perhaps my most-played studio album of Bette's. I got it for Christmas the year it came out and played it non-stop. Such a lovely sound. Whenever I hear this song I think of that hilarious interview with Ruby Wax where they walked round Harvey Nicks and generally caused chaos. Bette was trying to promote the album and took a lot of stick from Ruby for To Deserve You being self deprecating. Bette disagreed and said it wasn't about men but "God or something". Whatever it's about it's a great song.

    4. I Will Always Love You - Dolly Parton
Poignant and beautiful. And sung with subtlety! This is how this song is meant to be.

    5. Like A Prayer - Madonna
How I rewatched that two-minute Pepsi advert that aired in the middle of an episode of The Bill. Lucky I recorded it as it was instantly banned when Madge's official version appeared. Which made me love it all the more. The Chart Show kept editing the music video for its Saturday lunchtime slot, so I had to stay up late to see an unedited version of the music video - complete with stigmata and crucifixes. Happy days.

    6. How Deep Is Your Love
    - Bee Gees
One of their best. The warm, hazy, moogy sound of the intro brings 1977 to life every time I hear it.

    7. What’s Love Got To Do With It
    - Tina Turner
This is one of those songs I remember hearing on the radio frequently when I'd visit my Grandparents' family home on Saturday mornings. So in spite of the lyrics I associate it with laid back happiness.

    8. Bette Davis Eyes
    - Kim Carnes
Once heard never forgotten. Love that raspy voice.

    9. Everytime You Go Away
    - Paul Young
Paul Young always reminds me of a much older friend I had. Well, six years - which is a huge, huge gap when you're twelve. He was quite into Paul Young, so I associate this sound with being all grown up and mature like all eighteen year olds are(!).

    10. Don’t You (Forget About Me) - Simple Minds
This makes me think of that Futurama episode.
