Did you know that Jim Davis (who has been very-well-known to us as Jock Ewing on O-R CBS Dallas from 1978-81) was in a second-season episode of Cannon (1971-76 CBS detective series w/the late William Conrad) as a character named Henry Rawdon? The episode was "The Seventh Grave," OAD Wed. Feb. 28, 1973 on CBS (screenshots of his guest star credit, and his character in action, captured from VEI condensed all-in-one of Cannon, fourth disc of second season).

Do you feel the same about Susan Howard on Petrocelli?

In those early pictures he looks very similar to actor Steve Kanaly. You can really see why they made the character of Ray Krebbs the illegitmate son of Jock Ewing. If the character of Jock Ewing had been cast to any other actor it is doubtful the character of Ray would've been revealed as Jock's son. Imagine how that would've affected the run of Dallas if it had never happened.

God Bless Jim Davis, he was terrific as Jock Ewing, even though we had him just for a little while his legacy still remains. :(

No funnily enough, i watched Petrochelli at the time it was shown in Uk so i knew her as Maggie before she became Donna

Always glad she got a proper house with Ray and not a caravan.

Oddly enough for me, it was the reverse-- first having seen her as Donna Culver Krebbs on O-R CBS Dallas, then most recently on DVD, seeing the 1974-76 NBC legal series that she was in called Petrocelli (as Maggie).

He was also in an episode of “The Donna Reed Show” back in the 1960s. Funny seeing him act alongside the Miss Ellie that he’d never get the chance to share a scene with on “Dallas”.
