Every promise is a debt, so I changed the picture of my profile after so many years. Indeed Southfork Ranch or the portrait of Jock Ewing are real characters better than many actors.

And as you already know this change will also be my tribute to Ken Kercheval.

Here is my tribute to Ken Kercheval, along with BBG the most talented and versatile actor who ever played on "Dallas", with no disrespect to all my other favorites. I hope you like this little video I made to honor him and show my deep admiration to him. He never failed to give his heart to each and every scene he did, despite how the writers changed his character through the years. This is to you dear Ken!

I have to say I find some of the comments about Patrick very unfair and disappointing to read, from fans of Dallas.

None of us - not one of us - have any idea what he is doing, where his mindset is, or even what his true relationship with Ken (or Victoria for that matter) was. An awful lot of assumptions being made here about his relationships and his life outside of a stupid social media site.

It is none of our business what he posts or when. He didn't even post when his own wife died until much much later on and even that wasn't in much detail. He doesn't owe us any explanation guys, much as we might think he does. You cannot compare his relationship with Larry to his relationship with Ken. And as for Victoria, well, two sides to every story I'm told.

I know we're all smarting from Ken's death and we're all hurting - I know you really adored him @Via The Void - but I just think we need to take a step back here. Nobody knows what is going on in anyone's life personally, so just take it easy. It is none of our business, really. And I'm sure in time Patrick will talk about Ken. But in his own time and if he doesn't, he certainly should not be judged as a person because of it.

Perhaps they just said their condolences in private. But maybe now it doesn't count unless you've said it on Twitter.

It's no longer enough to do it, you have to be seen to do it.

Yes, I would send a card or pick up the phone or discuss it with other friends or co-workers...but my followers* or any other anonymous internet gazer have nothing to do with my personal grief (or lack thereof).
It doesn't surprise me that PD hasn't posted anything (yet), I'm more surprised that, out of the blue, everyone starts posting these messages.

Thank you for your tribute video @Toni
Wow! Ken sure looked young in those first clips. Oddly I tend to think of him mostly as a middle age man as he was on Dallas. So it was nice to see some of his early works too. :)
    Also great selection of quotes.

They had their agents deliver their statement to the press/news who then spread it.

His is a name that I never saw in all the glossy coverage of Dallas - old or new - but he was an intrinsic part of the show and it wouldn't have been the same without him.
