I remember that show. It was not as good as Richard Greene's Robin Hood but the theme using Rossini's Overture was catchy. Unfortunately, The Lone Ranger confused people by co-opting it.

ITC’s Gideon’s Way. This week guest starring Derren Nesbitt, John Hurt and Michael Cashman. Some of the incidental music would turn up on The Saint and The Baron.

Oh, I think it is better than The Adventures of Robin Hood. Although I love both and have all 143 episodes of Robin Hood and all 39 episodes of William Tell. And William Tell is way grittier with lots of fatal crossbolts flying about and characters regularly murdered. Romantic, fun, lots of World War 2 parallels with the resistance and the Austrians. Lovely villain in Willoughby Goddard’s Landburger Gessler, multiple villainous appearances by Derren Nesbitt, Jennifer Jayne as William Tell’s wife Hedda, location shooting in Snowdonia. Michael Caine pops up in two episodes. William Tell was deemed successful enough to warrant another series but it never came to fruition. I’ve got both shows on DVD. And The Adventures of Sir Lancelot (my DVD set is signed by the show’s star, William Russell), The Buccaneers, Sir Francis Drake and Sword of Freedom. All ITC shows.

Actually they changed the tune for the US screenings to what is called the Freedom song, because of The Lone Ranger. On the Network William Tell DVD set, the episode called Castle of Fear has the US title song on the opening and closing. I much prefer the other one.

Gran Hotel, season 3 episode 19--only five episodes left!

It's tempting! But, I've decided to do this one next, because I want more Julio . . .

I have this in my to-watch list...

Andrés is in it too but I don't see him in the trailer.

Velvet is on my watch list too. There's an actor from the series Sense8 in it that I really like. I'm also curious to see the actor who plays Andres play a different kind of character.
