According to iMDB he appeared on TNT's DALLAS as "Vicente's henchman." I guess that's the guy who had that slow-motion Matrix-like scene with Jesse Metcalfe at Ewing Energies while Vicente was holding up the family at Southfork.
Gorgeous! Just when I was running out of reasons to keep watching....
If only this made me care enough to go back.
Definitely prettier than the mustached version. Funny how both versions have curly black hair, though. ^^
They will be disappointed. Again.
It's a revolving door of hunks and yet none of them manage to stick around.
Or have a purpose.
Or be hunky.
Although I'm curious what he looks like in Tennis shorts. Is he even a Tennis coach? He's probably a makeup artist knowing nuDynasty...
To paraphrase Mr. Darcy: "he is tolerable; but not handsome enough to tempt me." Now, bring me Juan Pablo Di Pace, and I am glued to the screen every Friday.
I'm guessing he's a soccer player. Which means tight shorts might not be totally out of the question....
I'm just thrilled and spent the whole night wondering what's ahead for him...
Is Jolly Jennings still married to Crispy Cristal...?? WOW!! That would be an absolute jaw dropping twist of fu**ing fate and an historic cliffhanger !!
I just cant do it... I cant settle into it because of the tone. It's too much of the wink at the camera comedy for me. The thing that ultimately ruins a soap for me is not playing it straight. Even in original Dynasty's crap years it was very much played straight. Even in daytime it's usually played straight. I am watching some absolutely ridiculous stories unfold on Sunset Beach but it's actually very watchable because to those people I am watching it's all very real and there will be repercussions for every action. I'm aware it will go bat shit crazy later down the line. Even on Dark Shadows a show that has a f**king Vampire as it's lead, in a daytime soap! Nobody is winking at the camera. It's more or less set in a real world situation, only with heightened drama/melodrama.
This nuDynasty is just in a very weird place. Straddled between a soap and a sitcom. Fallon offering up her Sophia Petrillo wisecracks every scene. Alexis like some lost, light -hearted, discarded, Desperate Housewives character. The absolute travesty of this Dynasty is the nothingness that is Alexis. And I cant blame Nicollette for that, for she can only act whats on the page. She's written as a joke. Comedy duos abound. Sam Jo and Alexis, Sam Jo and Fallon, Sam Jo and Anders, Sam Jo and Kirby, Sam Jo and who cares... It just does not appeal.
Oh yeah! He was the one who was Vicente´s secret lover in my dreams...and was jealous of John Ross at a certain point...
I agree with everything you said, but NuDynasty is also boring, there's nothing addictive about it.
The story is awful, the scripts are awful, none of the characters have any screen presence, the comedy isn't funny, it's not glamorous, it's not soap-y - it's just dire.
After I had finished my last episode (baby Matthew, I think) I realized that I never wanted to see these characters ever again (especially Cristal, Alexis, Kirby and Michael).
It doesn't matter if the episode reviews are positive or negative, I can't watch it as a Dynasty remake anymore. It's become its own thing and boy, is it ugly.
I'm not a fan of it either, but i'll stick to it as long as it lasts and i highly doubt it will last far beyond season 4. And even that just because of that CBS/Netflix-deal, not because it's any good. And in 10 years from now, noone will even think about it anymore .. unlike the original.
I don't feel it needs to be cancelled or anything, I don't even hate it anymore.
I really hated Once Upon A Time, hated it so much I wanted to cancel it with my own bare hands. Make it kaput. OUAT is the summum of vileness.
I hope he sticks around for at least a few episodes!
And here I was, making the wish that OUAT would last for 7 seasons... which it did. I also made the wish that NuDynasty would last for at least 3 or 4 seasons. And it looks like that could happen now. ^^ Maybe I should make a wish that Peyton Place gets a *GOOD* remake.
