He really died that time.
This chap's death on Live From Her Majesty's in the UK, back in 1984, was the most shocking TV death, and this was no act...!
As if we needed more proof that fezzes are NOT cool....
Going back to 1974, the name Christine Chubbuck might not mean much to most of you. She was a local reporter/host for a TV channel in Sarasota, FL. She was severely depressed and shot herself in the head on live TV, the first "live suicide" on television. Though this youtube story does NOT show the actual footage (which, mercifully, was destroyed by the station), it describes what happened and mentions that two films are currently in production chronicling her story.
Will Gardner-The Good Wife
Ned Stark -Game of Thrones
Clay -Sons of Anarchy
The Red Wedding "Game Of Thrones" killing off so many characters including Rob and his wife and unborn child.
Tara -Sons of Anarchy
Lori -Walking Dead
Sophia -The Walking Dead
Shireen -Game of Thrones
Bill Compton -True Blood
Hershel -Walking Dead
I agree with these 2. I didn't watch all episodes of Sopranos, only here and there. But I remember I was surprised about Adriana.
And Shireen! An innocent little girl. Killed off THAT way. Not that I thought she was an important character, but I liked her, and the way they did it was a shocker.
Nooooo! (I should have watched the complete series by now!!!)
The last scene of Rich Man, Poor Man II. Brilliant.
A true precedent of what would launch "Dallas" to the stratosphere a couple of years later...Some people are still waiting for RJ to get up and walk...
I would have watched more episodes (or seasons) but I think it was great to end the story that way.
And this guy - Damages season 3. What an awful way to die.
(this is not the scene)
I'm sorry I ruined it for you.@Toni
Ah ok, I was gonna say a beer and some peanuts doesn't look like that bad a way to go.
Btw, the competition is getting pretty fierce over on the Bachelor thread, so I just wanted you to know,
in case anything happens to me before the season is over,
That's smart thinking, WHH
I haven't skydived since.
Paul Darrow also got to shoot his own wife dead in that finale.
Oh, lots of my favourites come from Hollyoaks. Being impaled, parachute tampering, drowning, poisonings, defenestration, bludgeonings, fatal potassium chloride injections, bus/car/train crashes and explosions, shootings, stabbings, stranglings, being hit by vehicles, crushed and occasionally being deliberately set on fire are everyday hazards of living in a quiet Chester village. I'm still fond of Brendan Brady knocking Simon Walker into the path of an oncoming speeding train, a fight for which Ofcom found that Hollyoaks breached programme guidelines and didn't provide enough warning about what was happening in it's 6.30pm for children watching in a pre-watershed slot. Well, it makes me laugh. Like the time Warren Fox's death was nearly 18 months later revealed to be Warren Fox (whose murders include smothering his pregnant fiancee to death on their wedding day at Christmas, for which he went to prison for for ) murdering and switching places with someone who he had befriended and just been rescued from a fire by. There's gratitude for you.
How about Silas killing Rae on Hollyoaks Later? Mind you, Silas came unstuck later when he accidentally bludgeoned and strangled his own daughter, Heidi. Whoops.
Maddie Morrison gets killed by a bit of flying minibus in Hollyoaks:
Evil Andy Holt in Hollyoaks:
Max Cunningham dies in Hollyoaks
Serial killer Silas Blissett accidentally killing the wrong Catwoman. Instead of killing Lynsey Nolan, he kills his daughter Heidi Costello instead. Lynsey Nolan was later asphyxiated by Dr Browning on Hollyoaks.
Never seen this series, but it looks like Final Destination extra time.
True Soap People are not affected by explosions. The worst thing that can happen is that they come back with a prettier face.
Well, multiple murderer Warren Fox was burnt to death and impaled by mirror sections on Hollyoaks in 2009. His body was positively identified by two people who knew him. He had a funeral. About a year-and-a-half later he was back as a full-time regular (with explanatory fire escaping flashback scenes) and a little over a year later was captured for one of his murders. He was let out of prison 4.5 years later and is now a full-time regular again. But he has kept the same face, which used to appear on top of his topless body in the Hollyoaks Hunks calendars.
The "villain who just won't die" is becoming just as much a soap archetype as the "virginal heroine," the "shirtless hunk," and the "evil twin/good twin"!
Warren Fox is constantly shirtless. He reappeared in the shower shirtless, as the differently-named fiance of the sister of the woman he was trying to murder when he was arrested in 2011. Apart from locking Darren and Nancy in an underground bunker and threatening a few people, he has been good recently. His sister Katy died from a drugs overdose when he was in prison, which has helped to facilitate a character shift. Although that may change if his estranged trainee priest son sleeps with Warren's girlfriend who blames him for her multiple murderer daughter Nico being set on fire by multiple murderer Cameron Campbell. Even if her daughter did cause Warren's ex-fiancee to miscarry their baby.
But I love Weddings!
