Just do a new show called "Knots Landing Retirement Home", and all the characters can live there.
Gary went back with Val! They ended all happy when they left Dallas!
I really don't think a new set of couples would last long as a series if they did a reboot on that same cul de sac just years later! I would say by 2025 max--Val and Gary and Karen and Mac would sell their homes and move to something much smaller!
By now all the kids would be out of the houses and they'd be too big to clean anymore!
They are all in their early to mid 70s now! By 2025 they will be close to 80! That's where it will not look good with them all still living there and the homes so big for them and them almost ready for the retirement home!
I think if they did one last thing of any sort with the original cast it would have to happen in the next 5 years or so! Around 2022 latest!
Having the kids there in their place won't last long! The show wouldn't last more than a season! Or if they did a reboot with other families it wouldn't last more than that either! Fans would want to see them all one last time! Even if it lasts 3-4 seasons! They are still able to do it at their age!
Dallas 2.0 was fine until they turned it into a Mexican show.
Knots can work in that format.
And I don't know about the guys but the woman are still amazing
The Man is a God.
Hmmm I disagree. Plus Dallas came first So it kinda created Knots. They are sisters.
Are those pictures taken at Donna Mill's house it looks like the same place her Christmas party pics were taken with Joan Collins. And it also looks like a much nicer version of Westfork.
Well, he is the creator.
Yes Dallas came on screen first. But I've heard somewhere that David Jacobs actually created Knots Landing first but the TV network rejected his pilot script since they wanted something less ordinary and more like a saga. So then he created Dallas. Of course when Dallas became a hit they decided to cash in on the success by creating a spin-off so Gary and Val were added to the original script of Knots Landing and voila Dallas now had a spin-off!
I could be wrong of course, but that's the way I've heard it. Anyway I am grateful to David Jacobs since no matter which show came first he gave us 2 great shows with 13 seasons and 14 seasons respectively and that is a great achievement worth celebrating!
That's right-- Ted's 72, and Joan's 75, just to name a couple!
Separate names with a comma.
