I have three,The man who came to dinner,It happened on 5th Avenue and Fitzwilly. The man who came to dinner is pure joy and Bette Davis and Monty Woolley are great in it.It happened on 5th Avenue is not as well know, but should be.A homeless man who lives in mansions well the owners are away and then take in the real owner is very fun.Fitzwilly is also not very well know, but should be too.It stars Dick Van Dyke and is about a butler who looks after an old lady and he and the household staff steal things. The theft at the department store is a hoot.I hope everyone gets a chance to see those movies

It's A Wonderful Life and the original Miracle on 34th Street are amongst my favourite films ever and are great Christmas films. The Bishop's Wife and Holiday Inn are good films to watch at Christmas too.

I like Fitzwilly but the Christmas connection is a fairly minor one.
You really can't top this one. :)

The only flaw here is that Santa is a bit of an ass, Mrs Claus is a brunette jewish mother, and the copyright date in fact reads "1164" -- or perhaps it really is eight centuries old!

Crooks Anonymous has crept in to become something of a Christmas favourite with me in recent years:

I rewatched A Charlie Brown Christmas over the weekend for the first time in about 30 years, it's still a great and relevant piece of Christmas entertainment that celebrates the true meaning of Christmas. I was amazed to read that it is over 50 years old.

It's good, daft fun. Full of eccentric Brits doing their eccentric British thing. And Julie Christie doing her Julie Christie thing.
