Yes, but there are a lot more charlatans and fakers around than there are people with a genuine gift. So I don't blame people for being sceptical, it's wise to be.

I do, but I also believe there are a lot of fakes out there.

I too think I am a tiny bit Psychic. I mean, not in a I can channel the dead kind of way. I mean I sometimes weirdly can predict things or see how they will go. I also have very good natural intuition about people and situations. When I was younger I would sort of ignore that intuition and of course find myself in a bad situation or with a bad person. I listen to it much, much more now and that shit doesn't happen.

I can read people very quickly and somehow just know who they are in a short space of time. And a natural thing happens in me where I either think yes or no about them.

    Oh yes... Of course.

You suffer from Frankiecolbyism. You must retreat to a life of solitude and pray to the Goddess Sable for Salvation. Nothing will ever be right for you unless you heed me.

Oh yes, and The Queen of Cups!!! You will expire!!!!!

I, too, think the ability exists, but that it's a snake oil business, for the most part. And that most people have some ability, even if it's totally unconscious.

I've had a few experiences, as well, over the years which seem weird and hard to explain---- but then, I've yet to obtain my crystal skull.

I think predictions are connected with previous thoughts that, for whatever reason, become more relevant.
The human brain is like an infinite library, stuffed with knowledge, thoughts, impressions, associations - how could you not predict something every once in a while?
Memories of things that never happened, and yet it feels so real.
There's this fascination with "superior beings" like aliens for example, but could we really find something more complex and magical than humans? I seriously doubt it.

In August 1998, I dreamed that the next American president was going to be Republican, "bumbling," and that his name would start with the letters "B-U - - -". (And, no "B-U..." didn't stand for "bumbling").

When I woke up, because ex-president George H. W. Bush's son, Dubya, wasn't even on the radar at the time, not even in consideration as a possible future candidate, I went through my mental rolodex of Republican figures and could only come up with "Buchanan", as in Pat Buchanan, and Buchanan seemed (at the time) way too extremist, so I said to myself: no, surely not Buchanan!

At least a year later, in the fall of 1999, you began to see a cesspool of Republican wishfuls beginning to congeal in the media as possible candidates for their party's nomination. By then, Dubya was very much on the list, but he was considered the dark horse, the "joke," amongst them, as he showed in interviews that he knew nothing about anything, and would blow up angrily when challenged. So no one was taking him seriously ----- except for me, and only because of my dream the previous year.

All I could think (while everyone, Republicans included, snickered about him) was "OMG, no, this can't be the next president..." No one else thought he was going to be, or that he even had a chance.

And another year later, in November 2000, we all know what happened. Dubya was selected president, by whatever means necessary.

But I never dreamed of hanging chads or stolen elections.

As a side note, a friend of mine (a Republican) went to a psychic in the summer of 2000 and was told that Dubya would be elected in the fall, but it would be as the result of "a mistake"... And I had a psychic tell me after Dubya was in office that the CIA or somesuch agency would attempt to assassinate Dubya overseas in a gassing, and after they left office, Laura Bush verified that this happened (although she didn't cite any American intelligence agency as the culprit)… Remember, even the CIA didn't want to invade Iraq after 9/11 as Bush/Cheney demanded.

I don't believe in anything metaphysical, afterlife, astrological, and so on. Having said that, I think people are more complex than any duality out there. For example, I am neither spiritual nor religious, but visiting an old church or being part of a liturgical service moves me in ways I cannot explain to myself, much less to others. And of course I would love a reading from Adriana!

I don't believe in ESP ever since I had a dream in which Elvis was reading Princess Diana's tea leaves which told her it was all rubbish.

Twice I have had a dream about someone I have never met before and then went on to meet that person, both with elements of that meeting related to things that happened in the dream.

The most profound one was a dream I had that me and my friend Carlos where on the beach in Thailand that I used to go to every year (He lived there). We are both arty and used to often do little art projects together. In the dream we were sitting on that beach and this beautiful girl came along and sat with us and started to draw with us. There were many other elements and details to the dream that made it really magical and powerful, which made it one I wasn't likely to forget. And this girls face stayed with me, I kept seeing it in my minds eye for some time after the dream. She looked a lot like Keira Knightley. Anyway, 6 months later I was back staying at the beach in Thailand. I even told my friend about the dream because it had made such an impression on me.

So one day Carlos and I were sitting on the beach drawing and colouring and along comes this beautiful girl and sits down and chats with us. She joined in with the art and at some point I realized that this was that same girl from the dream! There was no mistaking it, she looked just like Keira Knightly and just like the girl in the dream. And here we were playing out the scenario I had dreamt about 6 months before. When she went to get a drink I told Carlos that that was the girl from the dream. He got so excited that he told her about it. She was cool about it but I could see she was also a little weirded out by it. We hung out with her and her sister in the coming days but there was a kind of strange tension between us. I think she just didn't know what to make of it. And actually neither did I.

I find it so fitting that you had this artistic and ethereal dream.

But was it a dream, or an echo from the future? Time is such a mind-f**king concept.
What if we have already lived our lives, maybe our timelines don't match? Are we dead or do we still have to be born? Does it really matter, when in the real reality there's no beginning and no end?
Time has never begun, even when there was nothing there was time. So...who or what dictates that everything (including time and events) has to move forward?
It makes it easier to follow the soap plots, that's true.
But time has all the time in the world, literally, it doesn't care how we do it.

Of course one could argue that time is irrelevant if there's nothing that's being affected or measured by it.
Which makes me wonder if there has been a time when time stood still i.e. non-existent.
But this is only a human point of view, and other entities in other parts of the universe (or another universe) may experience this differently.

I was supposed to go down to Centennial Park in Atlanta with some friends, but begged off because I didn't "feel like it" so none of us wound up going, the night the bomber struck in 1996.

Just a lucky coincidence, I figured. "Lucky" because it's actually a small area.

Years later, after Eric Rudolph was supposed to be on the run through the mountains and wilds of North Carolina, I marveled at how our federal agencies couldn't find him, and joked to my parents many times who would often make the trek across state line to Murphy, NC, for dinner, that Rudolph was probably hiding on a hill behind their restaurant.

Turns out when they finally caught him, that was exactly where he was.

Psychic? Probably not. Just another weird coincidence.
