Who would like to see some captures from PETROCELLI?
Back to "The Search". On the plane to SOUTH AMERICA, the brothers reminisce. Featuring flashbacks from "The Dove Hunt" and "The Fourth Son"
Lucy's grief about Jock manifests itself over hysterics about how her father won't have any memories of him. Since Jock treated Gary like crap, I doubt he cared either way. In fact, I think even told Abby as much...that with his father dead, Jock's opinions of him no longer mattered.
I couldn't remember if these posted before:
Great screen caps Ray&Donna. I love your thread dedicated to Donna&Ray. Hopefully one day I will be able to get to watch Susan Howard in the TV show Petrocelli. It looks like a great show. Original Dallas rocks.
It really does. The above screen shots by Ray&Donna illustrates the greatness of this series. I refer of course to the images of Miss Ellie, Sue Ellen, Donna and Lucy congregating in the Southfork living room. The weight of what is to come from Jock's death plays heavily on Miss Ellie. Sue Ellen - ever the dutiful wife - sits quietly holding her coffee or tea when it appears she is eyeing off the liquor trolley. There is an air of jealousy on her part towards Lucy as she so casually opens a bottle of wine. And then there is Donna. Of all the Ewing women Donna (I believe) had the closest bond with Miss Ellie. Donna is deep within her thoughts on how this will effect Ray.
But lets not forget another character in this series of screen shots...the Southfork interior. The living room, foyer and dining room is on full display. The depth of field used is beautiful.
So yes...original DALLAS rocks!
It wasn't until joining soapchat I became aware of Bradford May's involvement with Dallas and why the season mentioned looked sublime. He really understood lighting and how to frame the women of Dallas.
The men arrive in South America, to begin their search for Wyatt Haynes/Ben Stivers/Wes Parmalee. They do find Punk, who is the only semi-regular cast member to appear that isn't a Ewing.
Donna talks with Miss Ellie in the kitchen, where the episode's storyline is front page news
Great screen caps, Ray&Donna, merci for taking the time to post all this
Some of these are out of order--that's how Imgur does things.
The women talk about how Jock's loss will affect their respective men.
Merci for all these captures, Ray&Donna
Great screen caps Ray&Donna. I love your thread dedicated to Ray and Donna and I love episode The Search even though it is a very sad episode. Original Dallas rocks.
After finding nothing but some wreckage in the lake--as well as Jock's pendant--the men return home and reluctantly tell Miss Ellie that their father truly is dead.
Merci for all these new caps, Ray&Donna
Since Jock is dead (don't tell Steve Forrest!) everyone falls into a depression. Some caps from "Denial", where Ray is sitting at home, feeling sorry for himself, when Donna's agent calls to tell how well her book is selling. He immediately heads for the liquor
