I watched DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS a few weeks ago, And it inspired a Dynasty plot:

Krystle is flower arranging (basically all she did from Spring 1986 to Autumn 1988) and while she’s feeding the flowers the flowers become evolved life forms, the image of Krystle running away from humanoid alien plants in the mansion would fit in quite well with season 8 of course this could her brain tumour hallucinations but are they??

    Why not both?

In fact she sees the bear but it’s actually Walter Lankersham returned from the dead because Shapiro Logic dictates, he tries to comfort a distressed Krystle but she shoots him thinking he’s a bear

Would that be a CGI bear or a real one chasing down the actress? A real one would be cheaper though.. plus the overall acting would be far more convincing.. :D

It is revealed that Dominique discovered she was pregnant shortly after breaking up with Brady. She had an abortion but suffered complications afterward. Afraid of the publicity, she told everyone she had a congenital heart defect. The doctor tells Dominique that she was apparently pregnant with twins and only one twin was aborted. The doctor warns Dominique that it is too risky to attempt a second abortion; she will have to carry the second child to term. As she approaches her due date, Dominique has vivid, violent nightmares.

When the child is born she takes him to a convent in the Rocky Mountains, she asks the Mother Superior to take good care of her son. The Mother Superior assures Dominique the baby we be well taken care of and she will personally see to it that he is adopted by a loving family.

The baby has natal teeth and red eyes (which we learn from the nuns, we never actually see the baby). No one wants to adopt him and the nuns at the convent are afraid to look after him - he has bitten several of them. Reluctantly, the Mother Superior hands a novice nun a basket; she tells the girl to place the baby in it and to take the baby into the mountains and leave him there. The novice is shocked by the instructions as she very carefully places the baby in the basket "but Mother Superior, it will be cold tonight. How will the baby survive?" The Mother Superior asks the novice if she is willing to care for the baby herself. The novice looks at the baby (filmed from the perspective of the baby, we see the novice grimace in horror), "oh, no, Mother Superior, I can't do that!" "Than do as I have instructed you" the Mother Superior says as the novice picks up the basket and leaves the room.

A woman (Grace Zabriske) of humble means who lives in a cabin in the mountains and grows/hunts for all her food is outside foraging when she hears what she thinks is the call of a wild animal. She walks over to the basket, pulls back the blanket and says "well, what have we got here?" She lifts up the baby and yells "Earl! We done got us a baby!"
