Hey I just wondered how long things can stay in a draft for on the forum? I've noticed if I am in the middle of writing something and stop, it saves. Does it permanently save?

    Thanks!! :NI:

I use the quick-reply box at the bottom of the threads, and I've left text in that area for weeks. I'm not sure about the main reply page.

    What's the difference between a reply and a quick-reply?

In the older days you could hit the reply button at the end of the thread and it would take you to a new page for you to write a reply. It looked the same as the page where you create a thread, with all the previous replies in reverse order below the reply box area. I've been using the box at the bottom of the thread (which, on most vBulletin-type boards, is referred to as the quick-reply box) for so long that I did not realize the main reply page no longer exists. Now when you hit the reply button within a posting, it simply quotes what the person said in that quick-reply box (which is now, I guess just the all-purpose reply box). Apologies for the confusion....

Yeah, that's right, I can reply you but I'd still have to post reply in order to reply.

But if the forum is rebooted before you post your draft I think you will lose it.
