The only time i cried before was when Dany was dreaming of Khal Drogo and her child in season 2.
“When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east," she said sadly. "When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. When my womb quickens again, and I bear a living child. Then you will return, my sun-and-stars, and not before." -Daenerys Targaryen
My sun and stars ...:sad::sad:

Considering how very fast they are traveling this season, it feels like it!

LMAO! They did tell us the pace would astound us this season. We didn't realize that meant how fast they go to and back from places! :D

I would like to know only ONE thing from this upcoming episode, if possible, before I watch tonight's episode:

S07E06 -- do not proceed if you haven't watched it yet

Sigh. So much stress. So much sadness.

I have to praise the incredible direction. They've just earned at least a nomination if not the Emmy. The incredible landscapes they featured, that inspired opening shot of equating the Dragonstone table to the hills and mountains beyond the wall, and of course the battle/effects. Top notch. Hard to believe it's TV.

I wasn't crazy about the Arya/Sansa stuff, although it's very soapy. The good thing about it is it's of course based on their characters and comes out of their year-long conflict as personalities, and also how they've grown. I guess I'm anxious for Littlefinger's manipulations to be revealed/end, but I fear this may become worse. I suppose the story's doing its job.

Tormund talking about Brienne, Jorah and Jon having their one-on-one, the zombie bear, the Hound and Thoros having their moment, all that stuff was great. And of course Dany riding in with her dragons and Viserion's heartbreaking death.

Dany crying over them made me cry but I think playing the attraction beat at that moment (Jon and Dany making goo goo eyes at each other) was the wrong time.

Some twat from hell spoiled on Facebook days ago that one of the dragons turns into a wight (he caught that unfriend real fast) but it was still such a horrible , horrifying moment. The war just got worse.

That was by far the most stressful episode I've had to endure.

I don't know what upset me more, the death or the resurrection. I think it's the latter, I much prefer the idea of Viserion resting in peace.

It was so stressful, they had me thinking crazy things like they'd kill off Jon Snow. Too much anxiety for one night!

I know what you mean. If he is to die, I rather he'd stay at the bottom of that lake. Not as a weapon against them. The Night King can now just fly over the wall  Dany will be devastated when she sees him.

Predictions for the 80 minutes finale:
Now that the Night King has a dragon, he will blow up the wall with it's help, what do you think?
Dany and Jon will f*ck the hell out of each other until they find out through Sam, that Jon is Targaryan and they realizie Aunt is f*cking her nephew, eeeew!!
And then Jon as Targaryen realizes that HE is the rightful heir to the throne ... then he and Dany will become enemies again, because he (rightfully?) claims the f*cking throne for himself! Dun-dun-duuuuuuuuun!
Littlefinger will be killed (hopefully) by Sansa or Arya.
Then bye-bye until next season.... how long will we have to wait? Until 2019????!! f*** you, bastards!
How many of my predictions will come true and how many won't?? Find out and stay tuned until sundays 80-minutes-great finale! :D

Epic indeed. All of those characters meeting at the Dragonpit Summit was impressive. I'm hoping Jaime has broken free of Cersei. Really loved Daenerys this season. The Night King riding Viserion was awesome and funny in a way. A lot to digest.

Watching all these characters come together, some of them with serious ties to each other, some never sharing scenes before, was wonderful. Pure soap opera. The Tyrion/Cersei scene was a standout, like something out of Season 2. It felt false that Cersei didn't kill Tyrion and agreed to send soldiers to fight the White Walkers, so I was hugely relieved (and cursed her out) when she told Jaime it was all a ploy. Jaime's "I don't believe you" and walking out on her was another highlight.

Theon's scene with Jon and finally standing up for himself was hugely rewarding. To think this story has been going on since Season 2... I am glad they didn't give it up. I am glad he's going after Yara to save her. Great work by Allen. I guess being without genitals came in handy!

Another payoff: Sansa and Arya confronting Littlefinger and his execution. AG did marvelous work in those final moments too. That Ned Stark callback nearly brought me to tears.

The dragon tearing down the wall -- stunning. A great way to end the season. Kudos, again, for the SFX!
