We have a coffee machine in the house and the fragrance in the morning is just divine. I used to drink far too much coffee and so went completely caffeine-free in 2005. If I had a cup now I'm pretty sure I'd be a shake-riddled insomniac for a week. Last year, I reintroduced a little caffeine in an attempt to combat fatigue and now have two cups of Chinese Sencha most mornings. It hasn't done anything to alleviate the fatigue, but it doesn't seem to be making anything worse and there are other health benefits to having it in moderation. Besides, I'm really enjoying the taste.
