Sometimes a good, hard slap adds some sizzle to a scene. There have been slaps that have been wonderfully delivered and came at the perfect time in an episode(Lucy slaps JR when he tells her he bribed Valene, Pam slapping JR at the end of season 6). What are some slaps you wish had occurred that, in addition to being richly deserved, would have also added tremendously to the seriousness of the plot or interaction? Mine are: 1. Miss Ellie slaps Sue Ellen after SE shot JR. The show treated the shooting as if she had just pushed JR into the pool. A slap was definitely in order. 2. Lucy slaps Sue Ellen after Mickey"s death. Maybe not while SE was recovering from the accident herself, but later in season 7 when SE displays indifference to the tragedy. 3. Jenna slaps Pam when Pam asks if she and Bobby could raise Jenna's baby. It would be a jolt to see the heroine on the receiving end of a slap. 4. Katherine slaps Afton when she finds out Afton called Pam and told her Katherine was after Bobby. This will add to Katherine's wickedness and hint at her violent tendencies. 5. Sue Ellen slaps Mandy when she tells her she's leaving Dallas with SE's husband. What nerve! Plus, Sue Ellen gets slapped twice here. She needs to get to "throw hands."
