1980 was THEE most exciting time to be a Dallas fan in UK as Dallas and the cast were HOT and none more so than Larry Hagman

The show and cast were in papers and mags on a daily and weekly basis and it was the most talked about show on TV

And as a Dallas fan it was wonderful!

In the 29 May 1982 edition of Radio Times, Dynasty actor Dale Robertson (Walter Lankershim) commented of the programme: “I think it is marvellously acted, splendidly directed, crisply characterised. But I do not approve of all those immoral goings on. There’s everything from men eyeing men, to women groping after married men; even the horses are homosexual.”

    Wow! Thankfully times have changed

Oh yeah. That is why dear ol´ Dale preferred to hold hands with the wealthiest Dallas widow and invite her to a "N.Y. trip" (which I always thought sounded very sleazy) when he showed up in the Lorimar show... :re:

    2017 I think (unless it is 2016)
Wasn't that one of the show's proposed titles in the running, together with "Oil," and "Mile High?"
