Great photo from Southfork! It must be from the Dallas reunion, right?
Yes, it was a promo for Return To Southfork - 1st time I've come across it, but very funny pic.
Pam in the white dress. I must be dreaming.....
(Shower of compliments please)
Ha! A twofer.
1) I must be dreaming
2) Shower of compliments
I like when Larry is opening up the Reuinion movie. He just sounds so happy when he says,
"Welcome, friends and family. Welcome back to Southfork!"
Thanks for sharing these pics Pete lashmar they are great
LOL ... if Larry had been holding that long steak just a bit more to the left, it would have looked "weird" ... LOL! Or is it only my mind that's playing tricks on me? Besides from that, Larry looks really great! Ken looks just like I remember him! And that's a huge compliment!
Charlene sitting on Victoria's lap is so funny! Both of them look amazing!
Patrick's facial expression is somewhat hard to read! He look really handsome! :cooler:
Steve looks really good! I only wish that he'd get rid of that moustache!
Linda looks so cool with her sunglasses, a sexy pair of high heels, and a hot bathing suit (or is it a really short sun dress?) ... ... while she's chatting the day away on her cell!
That photo you describe Pete Lashmar was not the Return to Southfork Promo it was for a Vanity Fair Magazine spread lol....brilliant pics though.
That's right, "The Return to Southfork" was from 2004 and they looked like this in it:
The Vanity Fair Magazine spread photo was from: June 13, 1995.
By Annie Leibovitz and taken at Ventura Farms, Thoasand Oaks, California.
Seeing that photo however I can't help but wish that all of them had done the reunion "JR Returns" a year later.
I mean imagine how perfect that movie could have been if Pam, Ray and Lucy also had been in it?
I love the 1985-1986 season cast photo! Can't wait for the 40th anniversary!!
What always interests me about this pic is that on the programme RTS, it was taken the other way around - Larry was with Linda and Patrick was with Victoria.
@Sarah this is the photo you're thinking of, isn't it?
That's the very one @Karin Schill !
When that hardback Suzy Kalter coffee table book came out in 1986 and mis-identified the obviously 1980 photo of the cast and crew as "1984" I about flipped.
Silly, I know. But how could they think that was from 1984 only two years later when they published the book??
Wow! The photo of the gang beside the pool with Sue Ellen (Linda) on the sun lounge with mobile to the ear just exudes sexiness. Would love to have seen more of Sue Ellen in this style.
Seeing images like this (most of which I've never seen before) proves how MUCH I miss this series on TV today. Time for another viewing of Lorimar Dallas I think. Christmas break is fast approaching.
She always was the sexy one in my opinion - and in others. I remember Richard Madeley saying on Breakfast TV (UK) that Sue Ellen was the sexiest. I have to agree. Swoon.
And at times Sue Ellen knew how to use it to great effect. Remember when she and JR were living in separate bedrooms when suddenly Mrs. Ewing appeared at JR's bedroom door salivating for his warm embrace? As soon as the bull (JR) had performed, Sue Ellen just casually gets up, thanks JR and retreats to her quarters, leaving JR feeling exactly like he had done to numerous women. This is the Sue Ellen I really liked. A pity the writers didn't push the envelope with this type of Sue Ellen.
