Although Falcon Crest does have a habit of surprising you when you least expect it ...

Was that after she disappeared? I believe she walked into the ocean or something like that?

    About 2005
Hi @Willie Oleson. Yes Stephanie walked into the ocean and everyone except her two children thought she’d died. She came up with a way to revenge Jilly, they out Dynastyed Dynasty when she dressed up in disguise as a middle eastern princess (an utterly gorgeous, over the top, fabulously enjoyable fun romp of story) before she returned on the cat walk in a mask to unveil herself at a big fashion show. Jilly was there and she screamed ‘nooooo’ as she had fell for the trick and lost everything. Yay! Such fun!! Well, well worth a watch/rewatch. I love this show soooo much and that was a humdinger of an episode. Those were the glory days of soapdom :)

Seeing these two together just took my mind into fanfic territory. What an interesting coupling that would have made.

Also, I'm picturing Lilimae bringing Clayton mint juleps and calling him "Big Daddy".

I guess Cricket's cowboy daddy Lusty Rusty was Val's Dusty.

Ah yes. I hadn't thought of that.

I have at times thought of Bo Middens as Rusty's analogous Dallas character. But that's mostly because of their relationship to their children and in turns their children's dynamic with one of the show's main characters. But now you've pointed out the Dusty/Rusty connection it's put a whole new spin on them for me.
