Are you saying that even under President Obama, France and Germany have been your main trading partners? :)

He isn't president yet. Campaign rhetoric is different than policy. His focus will not be on the middle class, and I suspect you know it.

Said the woman whose husband granted safe harbor to the nazi elites after the fall of the Third Reich.

I'm sure my comments indeed made no sense to you. But some people seem to have absolutely no understanding of history nor the world they live in in the present.

The proof, however, will be in what happens. So just fasten your seatbelt.

And then she insults "white people" despite the fact she's white! Laci tweeted "F U white America!!" Imagine being angry with white people when you're white?!! Or does she "identify with" or "feel" she's black?

The EU as a whole is the UK main trading partner and France and Germany are the most influential countries in the EU. Our relationship with those 2 countries is more important than that with the USA as far as our economy is concerned, even under President Obama. However, if Mr Trump effectively pulls out of NATO our relationship with the USA will be of less significance than it is currently.

Trump told the media today that President Obama is a "very good man", a sharp change from all the negative comments he made about him during his campaign. I have a feeling that Trump was willing to say just about anything to be President and once in office he won't be anything as extreme as he suggested he would be. He said his election would be like "Brexit Plus Plus" and he would be right, the Brexit Leave campaign said any old lie to get people's vote and then immediately backtracked once it was over. If I'm right (and I hope I am) there are going to be a lot of disappointed neo-facists and other extreme right-wingers that voted for him.

This is all familiar territory and customary of U.S, elections and both parties do the same thing. President Obama actively campaigned for the Democratic Party to help get Hillary Clinton elected. Rhetoric on both sides are harsh and divisive and while is gets really nasty, it is meant to rally each base. The healing has already gotten under way in our country and it began on Tuesday night with the phone call from President Obama and Hillary Clinton to President elect Trump. Real men don't hold grudges because it is all part of the political landscape, and as somewhat a recent tradition beginning with President George W. Bush, the outgoing President and First Lady meet with the new Administration and extend the olive branch as part of the process. Obama and Trump differ greatly in their ideals, but for the sake of the Country and diminish the divide, they stand in solidarity when it comes to passing the torch of government. For me, it was soothing to see both of them to sit down and impart words of wisdom and present a united front before the World. It's for the people and the American Presidency is greater and bigger than any one man, and yes, eventually a woman.

President elect Trump, President Obama and Secretary Clinton, all made statements to get elected. Once into the job, it becomes clear that some things get done and others don't. It does not necessarily mean "they lied to get elected", it means due to checks and balances of Congress, some things do not get passed and if lucky, some things do, which should temper the "extreme" nature of Mr. Trump to a large extent.

This has been an election unlike any other I've seen in my lifetime, and Donald J. Trump nor Hillary Clinton were my people of choice (my choice did not get passed the Primary), but he will get my full support as long as he's the leader of our Country. :)

Let's unite for the success and prosperity of the US and the World.?????

Sure, like a late night talk show host really knows President elect Trump's supporters, or worse yet, that any rational intelligent person is going to reinforce and validate their belief system through the lens of a late night comedian, talk show host. :haha:

An intelligent and rational person would never vote for the repugnant pig you call President-elect. Your questioning the intelligence of people who oppose him speaks volumes about you and your ilk. Sadly, you don't have the slightest idea how embarrassing of a picture it is. I pity you.
