The opening titles alone make it worth a peek:

"I've just received this meemo". :giggle:

The end of the sequence also nicely foreshadows the dream - still two years away on the real Dallas. It would have been even more perfect if Jennifer Saunders had materialised in the shower rather than Rick's bed. But then they didn't have a shower.

I've just rewatched to read the credits properly and at the 9 second mark it appears one of our forum members was Budgetary Consultant.

i dont remember that from back in the day - i used to tune in and out of The Young ones, more a NTNOCN person

Must say Joan Collins looks better in this version lol

I still think Kenny Everett takes a lot of beating!!

    Rik mayall died didnt he?

I was a tuner in and out too and just finished watching the entire series for the first time, which was how I came across this.

    :giggle:

With Alexei Sayle's real name being so close to her character's I thought it was cute and quite clever to do a Bizarro world version of her "Joan Collins as Alexis" credit.

Yes indeed. Didn't he play pretty much every character?

Yes, very suddenly a few years ago. He was only 56.
