From time to time I watch clips on YouTube that I think would be of interest to other members but there isn't really a thread they belong in, and perhaps they don't necessarily warrant a thread of their own. So this is a thread to share clips that are thought-provoking, inspirational, or that cover an interesting topic. It could be an interview, a podcast, a lecture or a TED talk. To get the ball rolling here is a wonderful talk by the eloquent and charismatic Benjamin Zander, an English conductor, who is currently the musical director of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. Whether you're a fan of classical music or not (and he might just convert you before the talk is over!) this is well worth a listen, as his message is an inspiring and powerful one.
