You too? Nice choice. I pop out for little strolls along canals, fields, farms, public pathways, through nature reserves and along disused railway lines. Some of these routes are next to Q-Guild butchers and supermarkets. The butchers sell pheasants, partridges and game pies, huntsmans pies, ploughman’s pies, goose breast and other pleasures. Some of the butchers also sell cakes and tarts and fruit pies. And bread, as well as the venison pate to spread on it. Of course, moderate activity also means that I get rather peckish. Which is why I’m having a Gressingham Duck for dinner. All to myself. I have to keep my strength up.
