Chicken, corn and fries
A slice of toast with Lurpak butter and a carton of Um Bongo.
You eat a lot of beetroot don't you, Swams ? You can get beetroot poisoning if you have it more than 4 times a week. You do know that, don't you.
No problems to report so far!
Penguin & chips.
The chocolate on the Penguin was a bit melted but it wasn't bad.
Listen Swams, I'm getting a bit worried about your five-a-day. I mean beetroot and cooked ham is, of course, absolutely delicious and is, of course, normally my very favourite meal ever, but I'm very concerned about the potential onset of jaundice, beri-beri, ricketts, gout, Munchausen's Disease, ringing in the ears, sickle cell Syndrome, scurvy, scarlet fever, mumps, tennis elbow, lumbago and who knows what else. You need to vary your diet a bit to get the essential vitamins and goodness from your food.
Stay healthy. Stay safe.
Don't worry, I do! Working from home at the moment means I have a more substantial lunch than usual, although today I had broth.
We had smoked mackerel, baby potatoes, carrots and peas in parsley sauce because it is good Friday. My mum cooked though. She doesn't know I had pate on my toast at breakfast. Does that count as meat? Or game, is game allowed? Not that I care.
You see this, Swams ? This is the sort of varied diet you should be eating. Think on, my lad.
For the record, I've just had a ham sandwich and two Traffic Light lollies.
