If you spend money on anything unneccesary, what do you most enjoy spending money on?
For me, it's usually gadgets. So many great things are happening digitally that I'm consuming myself in it all.
Currently, going to the theatre, been twice already this month. Also spend too much money on kitchenware: recently bought a new set of frying pans and kitchen knives and currently eying up a breadmaker to save time as I usually bake my own bread every week.
Probably my CDs and DVDs.
You still buy CDs and DVDs? I didn't think anyone did that any more.
I hate to cook, so I spend way too much at restaurants.
I do... I like to own all my things fully. Physically. Digital is depressing.
I spend to much on clothes and eating out. I have decided to be more sensible this coming month.
I spend lots of money on concerts, clothes/shoes, skin & hair products, streaming sites, DVDs and books. And I won't stop!
Shoes, DVDs and CDs for me.
I dont own music / films in other formats and dont want to either.
Oh and my holidays.
Greetings from somewhere in Europe!!!
I just assumed most people would have moved on to streaming and downloading music and films. Clearly, I'm wrong.
I'm on your thinking level here. I can count on one hand the number of physical CDs I've bought over the past 5/10 years and I only bought those CDs because it gave me a pre-order code to see the bands in concert.
Everything I own is now digital, the last DVD I bought was the 2012 Olympics
I no longer own a CD player, nor a DVD player.
I have a DVD player, but it isn't hooked up. Ironically, it is in a drawer, chillin' with my VCR and my iPod Nano.
No word on where my 8-track tape player ended up. So many drawers....
I don't have the heart to toss out my CD's or my audio cassettes, but it's not like it's an extensive (or even enviable) collection.
I buy fewer CDs than DVDs. Music seems to always stay on streaming sites, songs aren't removed. However, when it comes to movies and series, they do get removed from streaming sites sooner or later. I don't like the risk of no longer finding what I want to watch. It's safer for my sanity to buy the DVDs.
I love to spend my money on dvd's or blu-ray's, but i don't buy much tv-series anymore on dvd because of Netflex, but i still spend enough mondy on cd's or elpee's because i need to have something physical in my hands, and i love spending money on some books and comic books.
And I also spend alot of money on another big expensive hobby of mine is, i collect some masterpiece collectors items, this is something i never told on this forum before because there had never been a reason to talk about it.
Sometimes I think I spend too much money on this, and not really on other useful things like clothes and shoes, well who knows, someday that will change.
