Call Me By Your Name
I cried during the last scene, it was such an emotional ride. You could feel the sorrow, the pain and suffering in the end. Wonderful acting and cinematography.
An odd choice for a Christmas Night movie but it was on so I watched it.
Yesterday's double-bill. Both were first time watches for me:
The Dark Crystal (1983)
Shaun The Sheep Movie (2015)
Father Dear Father (1973)
Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.
Get Out - great movie
Catch Us If You Can
1965 pop musical starring The Dave Clark Five who were no doubt hoping to emulate The Beatles' success with A Hard Day's Night the year before.
Tina Arena's Reset Live | The Concert Film
Brought back happy memories of seeing Tina live in London on this tour.
The Time Machine (1960)
FLAMINGO ROAD (1949)
I watched several movies this weekend. First, "All Good Things", an underrated thriller with lots of suspense, emotion, and unexpected twists. And Lily Rabe is in it!!
Then I watched "Legally Blonde", which I had been avoiding for years. Not as bad as I expected.
And, since it was the 3 Kings´ Day last Friday, and I love animation, I watched this lovely movie:
The Mountain Between Us
I had high expectations prior to watching this. I hadn't heard of any reviews or anyone else that watched it at the movies but with Kate Winslet and Idris Elba at the helm what could go wrong? After watching the movie I felt flat. Breathtaking scenery however the script left a lot to be desired. Towards the end I was rooting for the dog. And I didn't like the ending at all...too sugar coated for my liking.
Alejandro Amenabar's THE OTHERS (2001) with Nicole Kidman.
Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters (2013)
I went to see Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri. I thought it was a good film but I didn't see why it's picking up so many awards because it didn't really strike me as being anything remarkable.
