Out of curiosity, I youtubed one of the songs, and I really like this:

Yesterday I was listening to some Linda De Suza songs (remember her?) and one particular song reminded me of Céline Dion, so I'm posting it here for you.

I agree @Mel O’Drama, I love the Original albums series too I also have a number of them, and like you said they are really a great way to exploring an artist. I just noticed that Billy Joel got two Original albums volumes, to bad his album "Piano Man" is not on both this series.

These cd's really sounds amazing, they are indeed look like mini Lp's, they have the same artwork like the original vinyl albums when they were released in the 70's in Lp.

These albums looks really amazing @Mel O’Drama, and i always said that vinyl sounds so much better then digital sound. I love Celine's French albums, and you really should explore them someday, and you can pester me and i guess @Alexis too, if you want some advise when you start buying these French Celine Dion albums. :D

I will definitely enjoy these albums, tomorrow morning when I wake up with these elpees listening with a nice cup of coffee. ;)

That's also one of my favorite songs @Willie Oleson, it's from Celine's album "I Fille & 4 Types", it's really a uplifting song that's makes me wanne smile all day long. :D

No i don't remember her, but her song could have been a old Celine Dion song from the 80's, but it's a nice song @Willie Oleson. Thank you. ;)

Maxi singles are great too, especially if there is an never released song on it, which is not available on the regular album

^ God bless BGO for releasing all these twofers with gloriously remastered sound and gorgeous slipcases.

My Shirley Bassey collection would be quite poor without them.

Great as most of the Japanese Donna Summer SHM-CDs were, I find sound quality on the SHM version of On The Radio unpleasantly harsh. I came across the earlier vanilla CD version in an Antique shop of all places and thought I'd give it a whirl. It sounds so much better.

Great choice. It's my favourite Buzz cover too, @Alexis.

The Japanese edition has that same cover, but I'd completely forgotten that because it has an additional cover card placed on top of it:

I'm not so fond of this added cover, which looks more dated and less classy. But I'm pretty much obliged to display mine because it's the part they signed. I do like the symbolism of them forming a cross with their heads, which I'm sure means something.

Is the French version the one that has a different running order to the UK and loses Wouldn't Hurt So Bad? I'd be interested to know how the different listening order changes the experience.

Wow, those are very nice cd's purchases @Mel O’Drama, I have the cd "Starting Over" also from Reba McEntire, it's a great cd. And the other two cds are definitely on my wish list. ;)

Thanks, PC. Yes - Starting Over is a really nice album. Apart from Does He Love You (which I love and play frequently), I don't know Reba's work too well, and I often find a covers album is a nice route to get familiar with someone's voice.

I've had a skim through 50 Greatest Hits and I'm also loving her original material. Two of the songs got me crying, which happens so rarely to me with music, so that's a good sign.

Indeed. Some things don't need fixing.

Mind you, some of the other SHM Donna Summer's sound really nice, so I suppose it was worth a shot.

Reba has many great and powerful songs, some songs even makes me wanne cry too, she brings so much emotion in her songs.
I think Reba's voice and music gets more and more better with age.

    Travelling Wilburys Vols 1 & 3.

There actually isn't an official Volume 2 (that name was already used by a bootleg) but that's consistent with the fact that the whole project was essentially a product of George Harrison's sly sense of humour.
